“AMAZING! My daughter wanted an all girls spa type birthday party. This party went WAY beyond all my expectations. I wasn’t sure if the party would work for my soon to be 9 year old. Wow! From the mani/pedis to the hair styling , to the fashion show and dance party. Everything was a massive hit with the girls. They handled absolutely everything. I just needed to bring the cake and the space is stunning ! There was even a room for my 4 year old son to play in! Staff were lovely. Can’t say enough! We are so happy we chose The Little Ladies Club!”

“I was at Vienna of Roslyn on Friday, January 26th for a Sweet 16. I had a wonderful experience and as I looked around, so did everyone else. The staff were so accommodating and professional. Everyone seemed to pitch in where it was needed to make the guests feel special and attended to. Huge shout out to the DJ's. They played music for every age group and everyone was on their feet. 10/10 for service and fun!”

“From my bride: Book this venue NOW. The Royalton Mansion is a hidden gem that is absolutely beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff is so kind. We were blown away by EVERYTHING. Mike and Arturo have been amazing since the first day we stepped in the front door to tour the Royalton. They truly make you feel like family. Communication has been very clear and they made us feel right at home. From that first conversation, everything was about us. We were able to make the Royalton our dream wedding and they never said no to any idea or ask.All of our guests have said this is the best wedding they have ever been to. We have received tons of compliments on how beautiful the venue is, the variation and amount of food at cocktail hour, and how every single dinner came out hot and in a timely fashion. “As I searched for a venue to host a Sisterhood Retreat by my sorority, and having attended previous events at Obsession Banquet Hall, it was obvious this is where the gathering would occur, and was solidified when I attended the "Walk through" prior to booking. From the professionalism and friendliness of the event representative, to the room decour and cleaniness which offered the room an elegant feel, I left feeling excited. The retreat and ambience exceeded my expectations. The red carpet and stanchion gave the impression of a Hollywood Walk of Fame as we entered and exited the Banquet Hall. Beautiful venue!”

“This review is for Cold Spring Harbor Country Club...not Oheka Castle. Situated around the gorgeous landmark, this course is well kept, has some good length and offers beautiful views/photo opportunities with the castle in the backdrop. Since the course runs down from castle there is a decent amount of undulation (hills) which make for a challenge with uneven lies and breaking putts on the greens. The staff is amazing from the pro shop and caddies to the dining room staff and maintenance workers. 10/10 country club experience. Definitely recommend playing/visiting if you're fortunate enough to have the opportunity.”

“I hosted my daughter's 6th birthday at Once Upon a Sundae recently and the service was great! Our party consisted of kids from ages 1-10 years old and they all enjoyed the playroom, the piggy bank craft, and (of course) the ice cream! This was a very easy party to host because the ice cream parlor is fully decorated and they offer most supplies for the party. I just had to fill goodies bags, bring a cake and show up. Our party consisted of 2 hours and it flowed very well. The hosts at Once Upon a Sundae kept the kids engaged and offered kid-friendly service by assisting with smocks when it was time to paint, helped with the ice cream toppings, and offered amazing service. The adults also felt comfortable and enjoyed food and ice cream at the end of the party. We had such a good time!”

“We had a great time visiting with our 5 year old son. There were plenty of interactive exhibits to keep him entertained and engaged the entire time we were there. Every single room had buttons to press that controlled different things that related to aviation and space. I also was able to chat with a docent for 10 minutes to learn more about the history of aviation on Long Island. Such a neat history and what an awe inspiring collection of planes and historical relics this place has!! They also have two actual moon rocks in this place as well as memorabilia from Apollo 13 and other space ships!!”

My girls love their classes and their teachers. We love Glen Dance and plan to be part of their family for years to come.”

“We recently had our wedding here and I cannot say enough good things.-To start, John and his team went above and beyond to ensure the most perfect day possible. John was incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding in our correspondence, and in person in our planning meetings he was beyond helpful and had great insight. Our bridal attendant Abbey was a delight, the staff (from the valet to the servers) were absolutely wonderful. Our friends and family raved about the attention to detail in service, as well as the food.-Now for the food- I am a bit biased but without a doubt the best wedding food I have ever had, and our guests have been non-stop raving about it as well. Everything was fresh, lots of seasonal & dietary choices, and truly delicious.-This venue may not be for everyone stylistically, but it is truly like walking into a fairytale at night and the vibes were above and beyond what we were hoping for. It feels like you're walking into a small scale "Newport Mansion" type home with plenty to see, and the dining room and dance floor had just the right amount of "new" yet rustic feel to not seem out of place.We could NOT have been happier with this venue and I have received non-stop compliments from every guest raving about the uniqueness, the service, and the food. Everyone we know has said this might have been the best wedding they'd ever been to--- and we credit that all to John and the Coindre Hall Team. We had our 165 guest wedding at Memorare this past weekend and to say that they made all of our dreams come true when it comes to what we envisioned, would be an understatement!!! “Today I visited the Planting Fields Arboretum for the Long Island Orchid Society show! I've been to this beautiful space several times in the past, but not in the past decade. So I was very excited to see all my favorite flowers in one place, so many unbelievably gorgeous varieties and representations of orchids!!Once the show was over, we walked the grounds to the greenhouse, undoubtably one of my favorite places on Long Island. One step inside and you're in the middle of a warm, comfortable natural smelling wonderland. There are rooms of cactus, orchids, bromeliads, and the main attraction: the central greenhouse. I spotted banana and my "come-back" plant, and so many beautiful living things. Honestly I didn't want to leave, but I foolishly forgot to bring a water bottle.The orchid show ends tomorrow, but the Arboretum is open every day. When (not if) you go, please say hello to the plants for me--they'll enjoy your carbon dioxide!”

“The night me and my soon to be wife laid eyes on the royal palm we knew we had to have the place . Paola was amazing in assisting us with everything we ever needed for our night. The whole process was just as important as the planning everything for that night and both went off without even a hiccup, the staff was great and the food was amazing. “Had a 70th birthday surprise party here and it was perfect! We booked this location for the inside/outside combo and it did not disappoint. We paid to have use of the outdoor area/bar (TV included for Sunday Football!) and had a band play. The tents outside were big enough to hold guests under during a brief rain and the grass area was amazing for the kids to run around and play. Linda was very easy to communicate with and our guests are still talking about how great it was.”

“We got married 11/4/23 at Soundview and had such an amazing experience with Soundview. When beginning the venue search we knew we wanted a waterfront venue with an outdoor space for the ceremony and a suitable indoor option in case the weather didn't cooperate. We fell in love with the stunning indoor and outdoor views and the fact that they host one event at a time was also a MAJOR plus for us. During the wedding planning process, Brittany was easy to get in touch with, super organized, and quick to answer any questions I had. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. “If I could give a 20 out of 10 I would! All the staff at the hotel were amazing. My husband and I stayed here the night before our wedding, got ready in 2 separate suites the day of our wedding, and stayed the night of our wedding. They made sure that my husband and I were on 2 different floors so that we would not run into each other. We gave the front desk staff welcome bags to give to each guest upon arrival. They fulfilled all of our requests with ease and professionalism. They even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne the night of our wedding. How thoughtful!! We also booked a Post Nuptial Brunch the following day after our wedding. The food was delicious and the service was perfect! The front desk staff was outstanding and the manager, Matt, was so attentive and easy to communicate with. He always answered my emails promptly and with all the information I needed, if not more!! This made me so confident that our stay here would be nothing less than excellent. Home cooked meals, kids love it.I like they served variety of food and small portions but very frequently.My son is always happy when I pic him up, it means he have good day, he’s rested and he’s feed and learning ?Always amazing artwork comes home.Kids are happy seeing there art exposed on the wall. It brings there joy.Director is amazing person.Occasionally they have outdoor parties and celebrations events. You get to know everyone, staff and head of directors. Even there moms comes over.Last even was hosted for the end of the summer, we got to try a lot of home cooking meals and if this is what the kids are eating Im sold… it was DELICIOUS ?”

“I am a native Nyer who moved and back visiting from NC. Stayed here as the reviews were better than others around. While this was a tad pricer I decided why not. We arrived around 8pm. At first look the property looks really good. There were valets who we asked where to park and they showed us the other side of the building. On entry in the lobby, it's clean, uncluttered and well lit. No musty odors. We got to our room and we were impressed. I had no expectations but was nicely surprised. I am always on the look out for a room not well cleaned. Hair on the pillow or bathroom floor...NOPE. there was none of that. We ordered room service and the bread basket with the olive oil was really good. The fries..were crispy and done well. The room was modern enough, clean. Not a dust in sight. Even in the morning. Bravo.We actually decided we would stay here again.No complaints.Rooms: The rooms are spacious. Had the king room.Food & drinks: Food was good. A bit pricey but worth it.”

“Attended a baby shower at this beautiful and spacious venue and thought how cool it was that it's above an active firehouse.The hall space is located on the 2nd floor and does not have an elevator but the steps are short. There is a fully equipped bar, ice machine kitchen and ample space with 2 super clean bathrooms. If you're expecting guests, there is a parking lot around the corner. The views from the building are beautiful and thinking of booking this in the future.”
