aunty poonam is the best! we decided last minute to get lenghas for a wedding in California!- and we live in NY. when we got there she knew what looked good on us and what did not. Very affordable! and she had the lenghas altered for us within 4/5 days! if in the future you need something- I definitely recommend going to the Vastra boutique to see her!!

This place is a hidden treasure! I was looking to rent an outfit last minute (and I mean really last minute ) and couldn't believe my good luck. Poonam is so sweet and helped me to pick a beautiful outfit. There are so many other gorgeous outfits to choose from, in different price ranges. Will definitely return with my friends and family soon!

I had a fantastic experience renting a lehenga set for a friend's wedding from Vastra clothing! This was my first time attending a South Asian wedding so I wanted the opportunity to try something on and get advice/help vs purchasing online. Poonam was responsive over Whatsapp before the event, and it was easy to set up a time to pick an option in my size within my price range on the day of. I was a bit apprehensive about making such an expensive one-time purchase (I believe they start around $100) but I found a beautiful outfit and it felt amazing. Strongly recommend!

Vastra is by far one of the best Indian Clothing boutiques I have ever been to! I am able to customize any design I like. It is the perfect place to find an outfit for any occasion whether it is Indian or Western. The pricing is very reasonable and the designs presented are all very unique. I have shopped with them multiple times and will continue to do so! Definitely very happy with their service! Few years back I came into this store to have Indian outfits made was one month prior to my son’s engagement party. Ms. Poonam Jain’s professionalism and kindness was unmatched! Not to mention, the outfits for my daughter-in-law, daughter and myself came out so amazing =)! We received so many compliments. One of the best places to get your indian ethnic designer dresses. Highly recommend to anyone who love wearing unique and comfortable outfits. The quality of embroidery is very high. The beautiful and intricate detailing makes every outfit so special.

We recently went to NY for a function and we didn’t have my luggage so we looked up the nearest Indian clothing boutique and we found Poonam Aunty’s shoppe. We had an amazing experience as Aunty waited for us even though it was well past their closing time. Words cannot express how thankful I am that we found Poonam Aunty, as she not only just found me a perfect breathtaking outfit to wear but also lent me her shoes to keep. Nobody in the whole world would do something like that so I was very surprised but I am incredibly thankful. I 100% recommend going to Vastra as you will not be disappointed.

The best place on Long Island to get Indian clothing. I had a wedding and needed to rent an outfit. The owner assisted and told me to come in for the full experience. I traveled from NYC because she was the only spot that let me rent. She was so accommodating, did not try to oversell anything and had the best quality outfits. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommend. At the wedding I received so many compliments on the quality of my outfit!
