my wife and I started fitness martial arts at Tiger Schulman about 16 years ago, we moved to KMLI for a more real world defensive instruction and when Dariel broke off to start his own school we followed him here. The instruction is critical, expansive, and focused. We enjoy the workout that the bootcamps still give us at 65. Each of the schools were good at what they did but at some point you need more. We haven't reached that point at PF yet.

I've been taking KM for over a year here, and has beyond exceeded my expectations. As a 40 year old female, I have developed a huge sense of confidence and a skill set that I am sure will give myself a fighting chance in defending myself should that need ever arise. EVERY FEMALE of any age should be here and gain experience with sound self-defense skills. Coach Dariel is an absolute gem. He has the perfect disposition for instilling discipline in a compassionate manner, and his community is nothing but respectful and warm. He is also one of the best instructors (in any area of interest) with children. While his youth classes are mixed age and mixed ability, he organizes them so that they all get proper attention and training. And his demeanor with children is even more impressive than with the adults. Again instilling confidence and competence in a warm, disciplined manner. If anyone is looking to gain some life-skills, this is THE place.

Excellent Krav Maga school! Dariel is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about self defense and martial arts. The classes are a great balance between technique and physical workout. Dariel's enthusiasm is contagious and his attention to detail really helps his students to get the technique right. Classes will routinely incorporate effective techniques from other martial arts, such as Panantukan, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and weapon work. Dariel is always on the lookout for new material and updates to the Krav Maga curriculum to ensure his students have the knowledge and skill to defend themselves. Highly recommended!

This is by far the best place to go to learn how to protect yourself. The instruction is top notch. If you interested in real world applications you need to check this place out. This is for all ages, best kids class I have ever seen.

My first 3 months here the instructors really made me more confident in myself and my personal protection. I have been at Protection Fitness Krav Maga for nearly 5 years now and I have had the best experience. Everyone here is welcoming and extremely helpful.

My son is in grade school and attends PFKM. What he has learned and the discipline that he has developed is well worth the money. Writing a review does PFKM no justice. Come and experience the classes for yourself. In my case, this is working out well for my son. Real world applications for real life situations. Old school teaching. Not for kids or parents who are ultra-sensitive. Strict atmosphere. Works well for my son.

The best place to learn Krav Maga on Long Island hands down. Dariel is an amazing instructor. He puts in a lot a time and effort with his students to make sure that they are not only doing the material correctly, but why it's done that way. He will actively demonstrate what can go wrong if you don't do something correctly.

Dariel and his instructors have a really great thing going here. In addition to being a top tier Krav Maga program, they also offer classes in other forms of martial arts (often for free with a membership program). Some of which include Panantukan (Phillipino dirty boxing), Martial Blade Concepts (knife fighting), Kali (Phillipino stick fighting), Muy Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jujitsu. The classes don't limit you to techniques made for your skill level, so you often learn some of the more fun stuff like weapon disarms and grappling before you're more experienced. The students are also great and help each other elevate their technique and skills. It's a great team here all around and I'm glad to have found this school.

If you want to learn Krav Maga, this is where you want to be!! Dariel is an amazing instructor with many years of experience. The facility is large and clean, and everyone involved is friendly! Dariel takes the time to explain and hone each technique so that you have a great understanding! If you want a great workout or learn self defense, this is the place!

The trainer takes his time and is thorough with clear instructions. He’s tough, but that’s the teaching method necessary for one’s own results. Halving done through research before choosing the place, this is where I get the most for my money. The availability and quality of classes exceeds any of the nearby facilities. It offers a great physical workout, and a teaching of techniques that are as physically as mentally challenging. Women in general don’t take the threat of ra
