I would give 4 or 5 stars to office manager and most of the staff and 4 stars to the doctor, if he hadn't sold his soul to ProHelath/Optum, but the fact that the patient has to go through a call center outside the country to leave a message for the staff or doctor is seriously wrong on all professional levels. Twice the call center has taken wrong information down to pass on, and it seems like the doctors and staff have no say in how Prohealth/Optum runs them. Note, my endocrinologist who is also Prohealth/Optum, has it set up where you can call his staff and office directly avoiding a useless call center. The fact that most of these good doctors allow this call center set up should be a warning. Shame on you Optum.Prohealth.UnitedHealthcare for your lack of patient concern or care. I wish Dr. Rothar would address this but it seems they are complacent with the current set up. If this is the way patients are treated it must be worse for the employees who work there.UPDATE: Needed to have my blood drawn due to a sudden condition and the excellent staff/office manager got me in right away-------only to find out that this practice doesn't send bloodwork out to either of the two largest labs (Quest & Lab corp) which are the two main labs that are covered with my insurance. I have excellent insurance NYSHIP Empire, so why would I want to pay extra for Optum labs. This practice has become a OPTUM HMO. Luckily my cardiologist (not part of Optum) asked me to come in right away and have it done. Looks like my family will have to start looking for a new internist soon.

Worse customer service in the entire world. Never return the calls and pick up the phone. It does not matter how many times you call or leave the message. Longer wait time even to get the referral. Nasty and rude front desk. Need to shut down this place. I been going this office for few years. Did not improve the service at all. Time to move from this place.

New to the area, the doctors were highly reviewed. I've called to make an appt 5-10 times over two months. No one has ever answered a phone or called back. Finally gave up and found a new PCP.

Very disappointed and I haven’t even visited the office yet. I called 14 times, conservatively for 12 minutes and my phone call was not answered. I’m not sure who runs the desk but they need a better system. At least pick up and say “please hold”. After reviewing the other reviews, it seems this is common & I will be cancelling my appointment. Glad I didn’t waste my time.

I have been going here for about 25 years!! Physicals are always an issue, you have to make appointments months in advance. This time I called and left a message for a physical. No call back. I called back after a few weeks and asked for a physical and was told to hold and I was holding for about 20 minutes and I’m done with this place. No respect for others time.

Have been going to this practice for almost 2 years and love it . Love Dr Keane, patient and cares.Nurse Claire has changed my life , have been poked, bruised and in pain from (different locations)labs, hospital and doctor trying to find my vein.. With a quick exchange of pleasantries , opening and closing of the fist and she’s done! Claire , thank you for loving what you do.

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I started off going to Dr. Keane whom I actually liked. My mom, sister and I were all in the process of looking for a new doctors office since the practice we used to go to closed. Based on Dr. Keane, I recommended this place. My mom tried to make an appointment with Dr. Keane but she was all booked up so she saw Dr. O'Brien instead. My mom complained of stomach pain numerous times but was told by the Dr that it was normal as she had a hernia repair surgery months before. My Mom, still in pain brought up the stomach pain again and was told it was healing from the inside so no need to be alarmed. She was never sent for a scan or anything. A few weeks later my mom had her annual gynecological visit. Upon examination the Dr. sent her for an emergency scan as there was fluid in her abdomen. Turns out it was cancer in her abdomen. Obviously I have not gone back since then. I can't even look at that place without feeling tremendous guilt that I even recommended that facility in the first place. Of course this is my one story, do with it what you want. But my advice, just find another place, or at the very least, go to a doctor that will actually examine you and send you for proper testing to address your complaint. Don't just take a docotrs word that "you're ok". Always always always advocate for yourself. Demand the test...it takes nothing out of them to write the script.

The staff is very friendly! One of the biggest challenges for me is that I have a vein that is impossible to find, and often I get stuck multiple times and probed. Not saying it won't ever happen here, but if I were to sacrifice my arm for a blood draw, it would be here! My primary care provider is Dr. Rothar and he's fantastic. Super friendly, and explains everything. He is very clear and I am so happy he is my PCP. Not to mention, it is so convenient that ProHEALTH is a big group and their data is very organized and I have instant access to my lab results. Great clinic!

Excellent and friendly staff. Dr Rothar is kind, thorough and truly listens! I have been coming here for years! Carol is fantastic! Maggie takes blood with no pain and is super friendly!

Dr Keane and her staff at Salisbury Medical Practice are second to none when it comes to patient care, communication and follow up. Office wait times are extremely minimal and the staff is very accommodating. Dr Keane has a wonderful ‘bedside manner’, is extremely patient and thorough.The Pro Health Network has an excellent selection of Physicians. Highly recommended
