Lovely staff and a wide selection of Filipino goods from instant chicken sopas to sinigang seasoning and more. The ready made meals also had a wide variety and I had a hard time choosing what to get to fit into my budget-- I just wanted to get everything!

I found this place randomly one day. The food is a pleasant surprise. They serve healthier tasting dishes with less grease than traditional filipino places. The convenience of their grocery section is a plus. It’s a small mom and pop spot with all the pantry staples and snacks. The price is a bit higher than what you can find at big Asian grocers, but considering the ease of having everything you need in one place it is fair. The options are limited here in LI and I can easily pass on the trip to Roosevelt Ave for this spot instead.

Philippines Best in Hicksville truly deserves a resounding five-star review. Their store boasts an exceptional selection of Filipino products, including those hard-to-find ingredients that are essential for authentic Filipino cooking. The prepared meals and desserts they offer are a delightful treat for anyone craving Filipino flavors. What sets this store apart is not only their outstanding inventory but also the warmth of their staff. Over the decades, my family has been coming here, and they have consistently welcomed us with open arms. Their friendliness and customer service are second to none, creating a sense of belonging that keeps us coming back. It's more than just a grocery store; it's a cherished part of our community. Five stars for Philippines Best, a true Filipino treasure in Hicksville!

It's a little piece of home. I get my Filipino staples here. They have some fresh produce, frozen, pantry, spices, pre-made, and made to order. All great things

I truly love this place and have been going here since the business started decades ago. They have Filipino food items galore which I need to replenish supply pretty much on a weekly basis. Their cooked food to go is delicious and great for freezing until needed for later in the week meals. The desserts are authentic Filipino cuisine. They have juices that you can't find anywhere in the area. The place is clean and always kept neat. The owners and the staff are super friendly, customers feel they are family!

I cater from Philippines best for my house warming and was very upset with the food. I was wondering why the adobo I order was barely eaten and when i tried it i knew why. It was super salty. It tasted like they just saturated it with salt and soy sauce. I called to let them know all they said was that's how there adobo tasted nothing was wrong. Clearly will not be ordering from there if they think saturating food with salt and soy sauce is how adobo should taste. As I read below review others have complained in the past that it is so salty and they just threw out the food . They are obviously not listening to customers about there thoughts on food being they are still making food too salty!

Overpriced and they will never admit fault. Traveled 30 minutes just to get some desserts. However when I tried it at home, it was extremely mushy. It was suppose to be chewy not mushy. This wasn’t the first time we purchase it. We called them to let them know however they dismissed it and told us it was due to another woman making it. Won’t even apologize.
