One of the go-to groceries in the area for South Asian pantry staples, food, produce, spices, items, etc. Store is mostly organized and clean. Prices are reasonable. Staff was friendly and checkout was quick. Ample parking on both sides.

Fresh produce is really well kept and the products are good. A variety of Indian spices. Lentils, ready to cook products are available. It continues to offer quality stuff

Crooked and mean employees at the food counter and at the front registers. Yes, the store is relatively clean and well organized. Twice I realized that after I got back home, that I had been overcharged for items that I either did not receive at the food counter from the non-English-speaking employees, or was charged for a mystery “Grocery” at the front check out register. Not sure how many more times before I have been ripped off, but I found out twice in a row! I now shop else where.

Terribly rude staff and poorly organized store. Maharaja Farmers Market is one minute's drive away. You will get the same products with a much better service and quality there.

No stars. I just left the Hicksville store. My first time visiting a Patel supermarket. I was excited as my sister wanted some ingredients for a dish she was cooking. for my mum, a cancer patient who fancied a special dish that called for Garam Masala. Her appetite has decreased with the chemo she is on and she is barely 100 lbs… so I wanted to do something nice for her. I was standing outside the store and all of the Indian people going in were starring daggers at me. I wasn’t doing anything just speaking quietly to my sister on the phone about the ingredients. The ambience was such that I thought I was down south where I would expect that sort of behavior. I shrugged it off and entered the store. Inside was no better. People didn’t want to help me and more dirty looks from customers and the employees both. It was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered in an Indian store. If your black, do not frequent any of their stores. Do not give them your money. They should be ashamed.

So disgusted by the dishonesty of the staff at check register. Not the first time but this is the third time when the staff cheated me by overcharging and duplicate charging. I urge all potential customers to be aware of Patel Brother's, Hicksville, unethical business practices. If you choose to shop here, be sure to carefully review your receipt before paying.

Very interesting place with a wide array of selections from India and other places. Their produce section was very nice. They have some very unique products like colorful brooms and other things that are not your typical products you see in an American grocery store. Going into this store was an experience. I’ll definitely visit again.

They have all the groceries you might need, but the staff is unfriendly. They make fresh food inside the store like chapati, paratha, dhokla, patra, veggie cutlets, etc. Food is fresher on weekends.
