the nail artists don’t know how to do powder dip nails properly. they weren’t even able to apply stickers properly to my nails. very bad technique used as well.

Amazing service been going NO. 1 to Star Nails since I was 19 years old. My nails last up to 3 weeks!! Everyone there is so welcoming sweet and nice. very clean atmosphere. You will love this nail salon. The prices are very affordable and fair.

Least expensive business in the area for manicures. Some of the staff have a heavy hand when doing manicures. They also talk amongst themselves and laugh maybe at the customers???? Unprofessional

Horribly let down by the owner today. I come about every 2 weeks and pay 45.00 with a good tip, and been a loyal customer for about 4 years now. I came in today because I had gotten my nails done two days ago by John. In two days, all my nails had horribly chipped. When I went in, they gave me an awful time about this, constantly huffing and shouting “but what’s wrong with it?” When it was clearly half peeled. I even said multiple times that I will pay, I just want it fixed. Instead of fixing them by taking off the first layer of paint, she begins to paint numerous times over the nails creating a horrible, ugly, bumpy and extremely thick manicure. I was upset and expressed that. Though, I remained very kind the entire time. The owner then takes over, and in front of a full store, starts screaming at me. And yes, I mean screaming. She shouted “Everytime you come in you always complain. You are a complainer your too picky go somewhere else!” I started crying and asked her to please stop yelling at me. She continued yelling “John doesn’t want to do your nails ever nobody wants to do your nails” a customer got involved and asked her to please calm down and the owner gets in her face shouting “no she always does this she is the worst she is a complainer”. I can’t remember me ever complaining when I come in. I don’t know what I did to deserve that. Fixed it for me in the end and made me pay 25.00. What a joke? I will never be returning. I felt actually attacked today, my heart was pounding. Never have I been shouted at like that by a stranger.Service: Nail art

The worst nail salon in the area. It's a cheaper manicure because the location is filthy, the product used is cheap, and the customer service is non-existent. Save your money and go somewhere else. I have witnessed the owner yell at multiple customers... it's only a matter of time until your the one she yells at. Terrible excuse for a nail salon. John is aggressive and huffs and puffs as he does his work. He may do an okay job, but he will make you extremely uncomfortable throughout the process.

Worst Nail Salon Experience! My sister wanted to get a cute and simple design. The lady proceeds by demanding her to sit down and not allowing her to speak about what design she wants. Afterward, she start painting and completes the nails in less than 10 minutes. My sister mentions that she notices that it is bumpy and messy. She completely ignores her and continues to paint. Then when my sister asks again the woman says she can fix it. When she tries to fix it my sister who is still a teenager asks to remove it. While she removes it another man begins to yell saying that we should be charged double for the service and that it is my sister's fault that her nails were "bad." We ask why and he begins to threaten us claiming that he did two services so we should pay twice. This is despite not having been told that it would be twice the charge. At the end of the day we still payed, but my mom did not have her nails completely done and my sister ended up with unsatisfactory nails(they had not even started my nails after over 30 minutes of waiting). It is overall a toxic and unclean environment. I do not recommend this nail salon!

I was very disappointed with the owner today. I have been going to this place since I was 18 years old and I’m in my 30s now. When I go there I get a service stamp, the service stamp is a signature of the person who I’m paying to, the service stamp allows for a person to get a free manicure. So I had two cards, one was full so I have my second card and the second card had one signature, the owner tell me I will not accept this because he accuse me I’m of signing it, I asked him are you seriously accusing me of signing this card he said yes, he said no one signs like this, I said to him I would not sign like this and one of your employees signed it, he said to me again I signed it and he said it’s not signed in Chinese, I said to him all the other cards were never signed in Chinese, he kept accusing me of singling the card when I simply said to him I have been a loyal customer of yours and I would not do such a thing. I am very disappointed and I think it’s very wrongful for a place that you have been a very loyal customer to, to accuse you of doing such a thing. I would never go back ever again.
