Whenever I need to rent a vehicle, I use Enterprise Rent-A-Car located on Route 70 in Marlton. They have very nice vehicles at a convenient price. The staff is a pleasure to work with. I used Budget/Avis car rental on Route 70 in Cherry Hill one time. That was one time to many. The staff wasn't a pleasure to deal with. I had to inspect the minivan by myself. I had to point out damages that weren't listed on the paperwork. I was fortunate to see them before signing the paperwork and departing the lot (Saturday). The damages were a crack in the windshield, a noticeable tear in the leather on the back of the driver's seat, and several dings/dents on various parts of the vehicle. When it came to securing/paying (the deposit for the vehicle) on my credit card, it wasn't the price quoted when I reserved it. Luck for me, I had the email containing all of the information the representative had given me in order to rent the minivan, including discounts. It included discounts that I was eligible for, and the first 150 miles were free. The representative at the rental agency wasn't trying to give me the discounts. But what's in writing goes a long way. The next morning (Sunday), when I went to return the vehicle, the representative never put the phone down. He never went to look at the vehicle. He didn't check the gas gauge to make sure that I put the gas back into the tank at the level I received it at. I tried to get him to go outside to inspect the minivan with me. He wouldn't stop his phone call (personal) to do it. I took a video of the minivan (inside and outside), pointing out the same damages that I noted upon receiving the vehicle and the gas gauge. He handed me my receipt as I handed him the keys to the vehicle. I made sure that the rental car agency could not come after me for anything pertaining to the minivan. I had pictures and documentation on the status of the vehicle (rented for 1 day). The representative that I received the vehicle from was inadequate in her job. She was so busy trying to charge me extra for the vehicle. She never inspected the vehicle, nor did she make sure that I was aware of the working features of the minivan. The representative that I returned the vehicle to was so into his phone conversation that I could have returned the vehicle in any condition and dropped off the keys. He didn't care. I tried to get him to acknowledge me and the minivan. All he wanted to do was release my deposit ($350.00) less the actual cost of renting ($153.00) the minivan (which included my discounts), give me a receipt crediting ($197.00) my credit card, as he continued his phone conversation. He never even looked outside at the vehicle. I asked him to, but he said everything was fine. I'm glad that it all worked out for me. But I will never, ever rent a vehicle from Budget/Avis. Neither representative did an inspection of the vehicle with me. The representative that I received the minivan from (Saturday) didn't make sure that I was familiar with the operation of the dashboard (ex. lights, windshield wipers, etc.). I had to use the key fob to locate the vehicle in the parking lot. When I returned the minivan (Sunday) to the rental agency, the representative just wanted to continue his phone call. He charged my credit card $153.00 for the car rental, gave me a receipt crediting my credit card for the $197.00 (which totals the $350.00 deposit), got me out of the rental agency, and continued with his conversation over the telephone. The rating that I can gladly give to them is 1⭐️. It's a shame when people have jobs that they don't want to do. It reflects on the business, the company, and their coworkers. The true rating I would give to Budget/Avis is -5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. But we can only go as low as 1 ⭐️. Hopefully, this rating can get the attention of the person who oversees this location. They need a staff to pay attention to the customers and to the vehicles.

On behalf of myself & Ben Rivera, this place has to be one of the best places to rent a car/suv from. Been here like 3/times maybe more and their always on point. They even call you to check that everything is ok. The people here, every single time have been a pleasure each time. Thank you.

I had a very satisfactory experience withEnterprise Rent-A-Car on South Broadway in Hicksville, NY with my 8 day rental of a 2022 Toyota Camry. The car was clean and in excellent condition. The rep who checked me in was very friendly and did not try to oversell me on add ons. The car rode well without any problems. The rep who handled my return was equally friendly. She gave me an accurate receipt. The process only took 10 minutes. They could not have done better.

Charlie helped me with my rental and made the process very easy. I was fortunate enough to get a car that was the same make as my car while it was in repair. The service team was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Very happy with my experience and will be recommending in the future.

Level of unprofessionalism is abhorring. Returned rental to body shop as instructed and was charged inaccurately for the wrong date. Called and spoke to someone who said he would take care of it, only to charge me again. Manager (Patrick) gets on the phone, no introduction, tells me charges are valid when clearly i had my own car for the days being charged. needless to say i got my body shop guy on the phone to get this straightened out.

Cars are totally filthy. I was told they have no hose. They did make it right by providing a coupon for an exterior wash. The interior was especially filthy, even had shoe marks on the back of the window. Obviously they never clean the interior either. Very friendly though, great customer service. Would come back if needed.

CUSTOMERS BE WARE!!!Rented on 08/07/23.Customer service was fine. I returned the car in about 6 hours. I closed out my payment and subsequently got a Enterprise courtesy ride over to my mechanic.2 days later I completed their survey.Wellll!! Yesterday morning08/23/23, I saw an E-mail from the Damage discovery Unit, that I quickly regarded as trash. Later thst afternoon, I got a Fedex delivered-mail stating that I should complete an incident report for damage to the car I rented 3 weeks ago. I called the Damage Recovery Unit and was told there's a " do not pursue" since I had taken out the full coverage.I promised the rep. that I will have this investigated to the fullest extent.This is not only insurance fraud, but a total breach of customers information. I looked this issue up online and see this issue is highly pervasive to the unsuspecting consumer.Renters please ensure you have pic/video before and after returning their vehicle. Have their rep inspect with you. Avoid using this company if you can since you they can jeopardize your credit and violate your privacy creating much havoc and inconvenience in your life.Felt compelled to share.

I love this place! Very friendly staff, very accommodating, easy going, and very easy to deal with overall! It's the only place I use when I have to rent a vehicle. I really don't understand all of the negative reviews. You either add insurance or you don't. Don't be careless with a vehicle that's not yours... Bring it back clean with same/more gas and be on your way.

Worst car rental, rented a car on 5/07/23 from Hicksville Enterprise car rental after letting guy know about our travel plan to Toronto next day early in the morning so we need a reliable car, while drove car to my place of residence found car showing service over due and rear car tyre lost pressure warning sign, contacted road side assistance,, road side assistance did not help as they advised my name did not appear on contract while the person who rent us car told he had added my name as an additional driver, next day taken car back to Hicksville Enterprise Store for replacement, representative on site accepted faults with car and was not able to add my name as an additional driver. When we cancelled the contract because of their deficiencies , he charged us $193, on asking why ? he replied most of the questions he can not answer.

Cordial Staff but nothing extra! The old staff focused on keeping customers happy! Yes time changes and so does the people who work, but Gr8 Customer Service, should always be a priority! To add to it, this location isn't open on a Sunday, so you're charged for an extra day because there closed! There's Avis/Budget & Hertz, all in the sane area!

Our recent experience with Enterprise Car Rental at this location (549 S Broadway, Hicksville, NY 11801) was marred by overcharging for gas and staff rudeness. I sincerely hope that the company takes my feedback seriously and implements the necessary measures to rectify these issues. As a customer, I expect fair and transparent practices and to be treated with dignity. We should have read the reviews first but did NOT. The so-called Manager is useless! the only honest person trying to help is PATRICK...:(

My rating to them is ZERO OUT OF 100. They are very very unprofessional and try to get benefits of people'sbad situations. Two days back I met with a very bad accident with my family and my Insurance company booked car for me but they were trying to charge extra from me and lying that they don't have car available under Insurance price range however online the cars was available. I wish God give them very bad time and they feel immense pain and guilty for their hard attitude. They charge my card and till now I haven't got my money back. I am going to consult my Attorney to sue them for their scam behavior.Shame on you people and wish you worst curse for your life.

UPDATED: Courtney, who manages this Hicksville location contacted me and was able to make the situation right. I sincerely appreciate the effort to de-escalate the situation. She listened to my experience, shared some insight and we were able to come to an amicable solution. I thoroughly appreciate her effort on Enterprise’s behalf. She really helped then a frustrating situation back to good. I will be using enterprise again because of her kind service and ability to just listen! Thank you Courtney!0 stars if able. BEWARE, they make you think your rental is easy and simple; however, they intentionally mislead customers by charging them almost $300 without their knowledge and then lie to customers saying they were aware and agreed. FRAUDULENT STAFF, MONEY HUNGRY manager Charlie — you would think he had better customer service considering his bills get paid regardless. You’re better off using HERTZ car rentals or ANY other car rentals. This billion dollar company are scammers. Do yourself a favor if you enjoy your piece of mind & valid credit card balances for charges you AUTHORIZED. Manager Charlie is nasty and arrogant to customers telling them it isn’t his problem. And beware, if you don’t call in immediately around the time of your reservation them and Charlie act as if you’re below them & they don’t need to speak with you. Disgusting customer service for this large of a company with already terrible reviews on THIS HICKSVILLE location. This place will be hearing from me again in a business manner, it is no wonder they have an F rating on the Better Business Bureau site (BBB) this place deserves the federal complaint they will be getting not only from myself, but those related as well. Next time be careful who you are nasty to.

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. Just like other reviews about this place mention. These guys are bunch of scammers and are useless. I had a rental car through these guys as someone hit my car and insurance put me in a rental . I specifically told the lady that I only want what’s being covered by insurance and nothing else nothing more. She agreed and gave me a car had me sign some papers. I specifically told them when returning car to call me before closing file out so we can make sure we are on the same page. No call of course and then Come to find out that after returning car, I’m charged 700 dollars for extra insurance through enterprise. I then called before Christmas to figure this out and was told corporate is going to get back to them and they would return call. Here we are new week no answer so I decide to call again and was answered by a man I think name Charlie. He was of no help and actually wasted 10 minutes of my day speaking to him. He did not give me the name of the lady who helped me nor did he once try to even help fix. He kept saying I signed agreement. I included pictures for proof that car was actually rented through this location.UPDATE: Over 6 months Later:Thank God For Courtney! I wish I got her last name! She deserves to be promoted to higher management or even better take over Charlie’s job! She called me twice today to handle this situation that’s been going on for months. Came up with a solution to handle things. I also let her know that many many other families are being taken advantage of from this location and specifically Charlie and she said they are working on handling this! Big Shame On You Charlie/Charles or Whatever Your Real Name is Goofy!

The “manager” “Charlie” if that’s even his name is condescending and is borderline steals the insurance premium. My sister rented a vehicle not only did he try to finesse her about the insurance premium. When we called back to rectify he was very combative and acted as if he was doing a favor after charging her for insurance and not even asking if she needed it. We will Be escalating to corporate.
