Very disappointing. Went for a simple blow out. My stylist should be better trained in customer service. I would say she thought she was doing me a favor to perform the service. She made me uncomfortable and was more concerned with conversations that were going on around us than doing her job. I couldn’t wait to get out so I could go home to do my hair myself. I have NEVER left a salon without adding a gratuity - this was the first time. She wasted my time and what should have been a simple and relaxing experience into an unnecessarily stressful experience.

Like the review below me states, The employees are obnoxious, rude and have ZERO regard for the safety and comfort level of their clients. I sent my niece in for a hairstyling of her choosing and she was not satisfied with the purchase AT ALL. It doesn’t help that the receptionist that is employed here is predatory and rude to customers he doesn’t like. He actively looks for nearby patrons that will likely fancy him and doesn’t disclose that he has an STD.It’s not a good look for this salon to hire a predatory adult that is rude BEING THE FACE OF YOUR COMPANY AND GIVING OUT STD’s to your patrons like candy. It’s disgusting.

I live in Arizona and believe it or not I wait to get my haircut by Larry at least twice a year. I've never been disappointed.

SHAME ON YOU!!! I will NEVER go back to Salon Aqua again. The employees are obnoxious, rude and have ZERO regard for the safety and comfort level of their clients in the midst of a pandemic. I’m appalled as to how I was treated with such a lack of respect and courtesy from the staff.I had an appointment for a much-anticipated blowout for a newborn photoshoot. Upon arriving the salon, I noticed the employees weren’t wearing masks (which I understand is standard at most hair salons). When I asked the hair washer to please wear a mask while washing my hair, she refused and told me she didn’t need to wear one bc she’s vaccinated. She told me to speak with the woman at the front desk. When I told her my situation and that I wasn’t comfortable being serviced without her employee(s) wearing a mask, she claimed she “didn’t have any”, as “mask wearing is not their policy and has not been required in the past 7 months”. She also said she “can’t force her employees to wear one.” When I explained to her I had a NEWBORN BABY at home and really felt uneasy, she just repeated said phrase with an indifferent demeanor expressing her insensitivity as she could care less about my request. When Madison (the hairdresser I had an appointment with) said she would look for a mask and told me she couldn’t find one minutes later, I walked out, with no blowout, frustrated and very upset. They did NOTHING to alleviate my anxiety and made me feel like they didn’t need my business. I guess these people haven’t heard of the delta variant or the fact that even those who have been vaccinated can contract and spread the virus. As a service industry, it’s bad practice. I'm surprised they didn't have masks available and accommodate my request as people do have differing comfort levels. This attitude exuded by the staff is irresponsible, tactless, and downright foolish on their end. This place has awful customer service. I’ve been to salons where they treat me with the utmost respect and care about my wishes - especially during a global pandemic! I have NEVER had an employee refuse to wear a mask when I asked them to. It’s called having common courtesy for your clients. Regardless of your vaccination status and/or beliefs, if a client feels uncomfortable, why wouldn’t you try to do the right thing and accommodate them? Seems like a simple solution to me and shouldn’t have been an issue whatsoever.I used to go here years ago when I lived in the area and expected MUCH more from a salon in the Five Towns. You don’t treat valuable clients this way. Hope they go out of business.Service: Hairstyling

Super busy salon and for good reason: they're great. Cindy gave me a phenomenal cut and really knows what she's doing. Lots of great people there.
