Traveling from Az. To Bar Harbor Me. on a three month travel trailer excursion. In Cooperstown NY our GMC Sierra diesel truck signaled a fuel issue. We immediately had the vehicle towed to Steet Ponte Chevrolet.. 3036 NY - 28, Herkimer, NY."11" days, $450.00 to the dealer, $1000 for a rental car, plus a two week extended stay in a campground, we were told nothing was wrong! NOT!! My husband felt uncomfortable with Steet Ponte diagnosis. We sadly aborted the rest of our adventure heading southwest, back to Az. 115 miles later, signal shows AGAIN! Luckily we located a dealer, Mathew's Chevrolet, Vestal, NY. In ten minutes the issue was recognized. Our entire fuel system needs replacing! How'd Steet Ponte Chevrolet miss that! In my opinion, lack of knowledge plus improper diagnostics has cost us the trip of a lifetime! Hoping Steet Ponte sees this posting. We don't want this situation to happen to other travelers...I'll be contacting GMC Corporate Offices next!

I had a car accident on November 17th 2022. I did not get my car back until April 15th 2023. I know some factors played into the delay; like state farm taking 2 weeks to send out someone to review, and parts being a worldwide problem. I get that, but this plays deeper than those matters.I was in contact with a Body shop manager from Steet named Tim. Tim told me My car would be ready first two weeks of January, when that date came around, he told me the end of January and when that date came around it was hard to get into contact with him. I left SEVERAL messages and even When I did talk to him in January, I told him that I am losing out on money paying for rentals. Fast Forward to the end of March, still without my car and no word from Tim, I finally I get a call (after complaining to my insurance company) from someone named Pete who tells me they "Fired" Tim and they have a loaner they could give me. So, Since January I could have been riding in one of their rentals but because of THEIR employee Tim, I am out Over 4000 Dollars in rentals (State Farm only covered up to $1000). I tell him the issue I had and how much money I have lost, and his response was "they can't control what Tim did and his ineptitude." He's YOUR employee, this blunder is on you as it is him.Not only did I NOT get any discounts off for the errors they made (ordering wrong parts, loaner not being given etc). They couldn't even give me a free inspection Which expired in January. They gave me back my car with an expired sticker and I got pulled over and ticketed because of it as I left the dealership. This was one of the worse experiences ever. I wish they was more customer and consumer friendly as they know they played fault in the delay of my car being repaired and me being out of money. I do want to give them some praise though. When I picked up my car, they were very friendly, very polite. (Tim or Pete wasn't there) and My car looks good and drives good. So just to be fair I do want to put that in here.

Great experience at Steet Ponte Chevy. Richard our salesmen was great. He gave us a great deal and traded my 13 year old Hyundai. We drove over two hours to lock in my new car. Great job guys, fair, honest and trustworthy.

Hello, you recently had my husbands truck in the shop on Monday July 6th to diagnose a few problems. Well let me tell you something whoever tried to diagnose the problems did a terrible job. They said his power steering pump was bad and it wasn’t that at all It was the power steering cooler, they also said that his Windshield Wiper Motor was bad and fuse block it was neither of those parts either ..It was the wiper mechanism. You charged us a ridiculous amount of money and yo
