It was my first time at Pharaoh’s, I just walked in as I was interested in having my hair permed. I was warmly welcomed in and chatted with the ladies at the desk. They said that Eric is their perm technician and that he was wrapping up a previous client. It was about 1 pm and Eric was about to go on lunch but he postponed his lunch to give me a consultation, how awesome is that ! Everyone I spoke to there were very professional, friendly and just plain down to earth. As I waited for Eric to wrap up the previous client, I had time to sit and watch the other hairdressers work and see a few finished customers. They all looked fantastic, not a bad cut, color, or style on any of them and all very satisfied with their results. Pharaoh’s is one of the top salons here in the Rochester area and are highly recommended by many. My appointment is this coming week and I am very excited to have them do my hair ! I will update how my perm turned out in about a week.

So I choose to go to this salon for a hair trim. I went to this guy I don’t remember his name but he butchered my hair off and made it totally look uneven. He wanted to keep going but I told him to stop. They were nice at the end with not charging me. If you go here just be careful who you see !

For a birthday gift I offered my daughter pampering. She enjoyed having her head washed and massaged and her hair trimmed but the curling iron curls lasted only about 5 minutes. She has had curling iron curls before that lasted a day. The curling iron treatment was an additional expense, which was not worth it.

I recently visited for a hair appointment, and unfortunately, my experience fell short of my expectations. While the salon had a pleasant ambiance and the staff seemed friendly, there were several issues that left me feeling dissatisfied.
Firstly, it was evident that the salon did not schedule enough time for my hair appointment. As a result, my hairdresser, was unable to complete the desired number of foils due to the time constraint. This was disappointing as I had specifically requested this service and was looking forward to a more vibrant and dimensional look.
Furthermore, due to the time limitations, the hairdresser was unable to dry my hair completely or style it as desired. Leaving the salon with freshly done and styled hair is usually the highlight of any salon visit, but unfortunately, this was not the case for me. It was disheartening to leave with wet, unstyled hair.
I must emphasize that the shortcomings of my appointment were not the fault of my hairdresser. She did her best to work within the allocated time and was professional throughout the process. However, it was clear that the salon's scheduling and time management were lacking, which ultimately impacted the quality of service I received.
Adding to my disappointment, I was charged the full price for my appointment, despite not receiving the expected number of foils and leaving with wet, unstyled hair. It would have been fairer to adjust the price accordingly, considering the incomplete service I received.
In conclusion, my experience was disappointing due to the insufficient time allocated for my appointment. While my hairdresser, did her best under the circumstances, I left the salon with wet, unstyled hair and did not receive the full service I had anticipated. I hope that the salon takes this feedback constructively and improves their scheduling and customer service to ensure a more satisfactory experience for future clients.

I absolutely love this salon! From Annie at the front desk, to Oxana for my hair, and to Julietta for spa services. They are all so friendly and just absolutely wonderful!!! I love that Julietta only uses vegan or cruelty free products, including facials and pedicures. Where she does the pedicures there are only 2 chairs in a separate room- it's so peaceful. I love that this team just lets me close my eyes and be pampered, they don’t force you to have conversations or make small awkward talk. They respect you going in to their salon to relax, and I am so grateful for that time all to myself. Major treat!

Yogi and Becca are the absolute best. Yogi does my eyebrows perfect every time and Becca achieves the style and color I want even when I change my mind every session. 10/10 recommend!!
