“I have had many things framed at Michels from items for my home or for gifts for my family. They've always been easy to work with, helpful in pulling the pieces together and knowledgeable right down to what glass or acrylic to use. It has always been a good experience. I will always go there for any framing I have.”
“This store has something for everyone. Staff go out of their way to help you find what you need. Shout out to Ryan for always helping my kids find what they want!”
“Such a clean, pleasant and awesome store. This was my first time stopping in and I had such a pleasant experience. The gentleman working and another customer there with friendly and helpful. As a woman I have had bad experiences with being dismissed or ignored when I was talking about Magic the Gathering. This was such a refreshing change compared to other stores in the area.”
“Unfortunately all the hobby stores around me (Maryland) have small selection of WW2 kits, but Dan’s has an unbelievably large selection of Tamiya, Italeri, and Airfix 1/35 (plus other sizes) kits. They also have a large selection of Tamiya paints, Vallejo air paints, and panel washes/weathering effects for very reasonable prices. I felt like a kid on Christmas walking into the store this weekend! If I didn’t live 6 hours away I would be a weekly customer.”
“I was pleasantly surprised to find they have a new location in Henrietta. Although they have a sign stating they are not fully equipped at this location yet, I did enjoy looking around and was able to get a reading with Belinda. I highly recommend her.”
“I noticed as I walked in, were all sorts of furniture displayed especially a small table with 4 chairs. Very sturdy construction. I went back into paints and saw a sale on acrylic paints. I bought a bunch of them to do an acrylic pour. In the paper section more paper, either single sheets or packets of paper. Huge selection from holiday themed to color schemes or different colors and different hues. Lots to see! I saw a lot of crosses in many designs, one made with nails. Many pictures, and decor items in different styles to grace your walls.Going into the store, one set of doors, you have to open; but, the inner doors slide open. Isles are wide and level. If someone needs to have help getting something down, just ask and someone will be glad to get it for you. It is worth your while to take a look around.”
“If you're a fan of cutlery then make your way here. Came to do laundry next door as a traveler and saw they were a specialty shop that catered to people that love steel. Spoke with the owners Artis and his wife who were wonderful to deal with and offered a vast selection of inventory to choose from. Had to force myself to stop buying more haha.”
“This shop is great. I asked for a super specific book, was told to wait a sec, and voila: there it was. Bought an omnibus for way off cover price even though it was for a series that became a tv show. Back issues everywhere. Definitely worth a visit or two.”
“LET'S BEAD is a fabulous place to shop- not just for their fabulous supply of beading materials ( they have everything you need-trust me), but for the great customer service . Shout out to Terry whose knowledge, kindness and patience ( even at closing time) are much appreciated. The store also has a tasteful jewelry and gift selection including both beaded and other crafty items.”

“Stopped in half an hour before closing to get a coin I had found checked out.Had a great conversation with an extremely knowledgeable gentleman until close. You can tell he is extremely passionate about numismatics and knows what he's talking about about.I definitely plan on going back with more time to spare to view their extensive selection. These guys care about cool coins.Even though the one I brought in was only sort of cool, he was extremely respectful when handling it.”

3349 Monroe Ave, Rochester“I visited this location with my girlfriends to pick out some picture frames, and the experience was very good. I don't have an eye for such things but there was a cheerful young man in the custom framing department who was more than willing to spend time helping us find the perfect fit. In the end there wasn't a frame to fit one of our photos but we ended up picking out a boarder to fill in the empty space and it came out looking great. Amazing service, I can highly recommend the framing team to anyone who needs help with their photos!”

“Went in while on vacation to see about some Warhammer stuff. He had a bookshelf and then some of varies boxes. Not specifically what I was looking for but he offered to order anything if he didn't have what I needed. I told him I was out of town so that wouldn't work. I did pick up the newest index cards for space Marines at a great price. I'll update them with the balance changes when I get home.”
“Looking for "sock" yarn...pattons kroy sock. The only craft store that carried it. Not at Hobby Lobby or at Joanns. Most of the yarn today is muddied or dark colors. I was looking for a fun yarn to make kids mittens for a child in Texas. She loves colors! Blue raspberry was the best fit...wish I had more choice.”
