We had a family reunion in early June where several families stayed here. Highly recommended! The rooms are spotless, cleaner than most big chain hotels I’ve stayed in. The couple who owns the property are lovely, along with the caretakers. A lot of history in the old house where the caretakers live. We had a lot of people arriving at odd hours, the staff was very accommodating. The Cherry Tree in was fantastic for breakfast, and so close. We won’t stay anywhere else next time we are in town. These old vintage motels are hard to find anymore, I’m glad this one has dedicated owners to keep it up!
Rooms: Very clean rooms.
Nearby activities: Close to the harbor, parks and ice cream shop.
Food & drinks: Cherry Tree Inn next door is wonderful.

My wife and I visited
The Aspinwall for one Saturday night while family camped in Westcott State Park nearby. Wonderful small hotel with 24 rooms. Very clean, good wifi reception and were greeted enthusiastically at the entrance by Louis, the new owner/proprietor. Nice guy that Louis.
Not far from Sackets Harbor, a beautiful village on the shores of Lake Ontario where you'll find great restaurants and shopping.
Will most definately visit again when next staying in the area.

I've stayed at the Aspinwall many, many times, and it's always very clean, accommodating and fairly priced. 30 seconds from the boat launch and 10 seconds from the Cherry Tree restaurant is also a huge benefit. We love the Aspinwall. A++

My son got married this past weekend. Family and friends traveled three hours to be greeted with the best hospitality. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, the laid back atmosphere was beyond compare. Thank you so much and will definitely recommend to anyone traveling to your area.

Stayed at this amazing motel for the 2024 Solar Eclipse. Management was amazing. The rooms were so cozy and warm. I would recommend.

Comfy quiet hotel just on the outskirts of town. Stores and lots of restaurants are just a short drive away and located 30 seconds from the Henderson Harbor public boat launch. Priced reasonable and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

I was planning a trip up to watertown to see my sister and this hotel came up and do remember Lynn trotter was making this dream a reality did a lot of work there I do remember her soul mate Hommer wow the place looks awsome I will have to put this place on my stay list sure do miss that area florida is nice this time of year

We did an ice fishing overnight mid week at Chaumont. The fishing was great and the room was perfect. ~20 minute drive to the water and slightly closer to Syracuse.

Stayed here for an ice fishing trip. The place is clean and comfortable. Also well tucked away that we didn't worry about our stuff in the truck being messed with. Will definitely return.

Me and my family had 3 rooms here over the holidays, they were all above our expectations. Extremely clean and a very safe setting. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a place in the area. I believe it’s family owned and the staff is very kind.

Lewis was a wonderful host And helped us throughout the whole time that we were there. He gave us ideas on areas to go for great fishing. And had a great management team. Making sure that we were taken care of and had the best stay possible. I would give this place a ten stars if I could! Whenever we visit the area we would definitely visit here again! The rooms are priced very fairly So glad that we got to have this experience and enjoy our time. I definitely recommend The Aspinwall Motel to anyone looking to stay here at anytime of the year! Definitely the nicest motel I’ve ever stayed at. Extremely clean and quiet. We stayed here to fish the Salmon River. Be back soon to do some Walleye fishing because it’s only a minute drive to Henderson Harbor boat launch. Thanks again!
