This has to be the worst post office ever. I returned a package through my city and it had to pass through here to get delivered. Checked my tracking information because I was waiting on a refund for this package so I wanted to know when it was delivered. Tracking info said it was awaiting delivery since July 2nd. Called the post office and they said "oh they must have forgot to scan it. Just call the place you delivered it to, they have it" Are you kidding me? Why not just scan the damn package like you're supposed to? Of course I did not get my refund because the company said they "did not get the package" and now usps will give me a refund for less than what I paid. SMH! Get better workers.

The black people who work there (not all of them) always believe that we owe them something, and they can treat people however they want, I was in the office leaving an express package, I made a mistake with just the zip code number and this woman black woman named JONNAYE started talking to me in such an arrogant and unpleasant way, as if I were in a ghetto, when I defended myself by asking her why she was talking to me like that? Instead of apologizing she raised her voice at me and started fighting with me instead of apologizing, she acted like she was in gang fights, unfortunately UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE does not select its workers, or does not give them professional training on how to treat customers Please train your employees to change their attitude, because their service is disgusting as if they were in a jungle.

No supplies for customers and keep all supplies in the back like it’s gold and give looks when asking for 1 to use and fill out to ship

The worst! They mark your packages delivered when they’re not! They give your packages to the wrong people! Their lines are remarkably long! There’s one clerk there whose shirts always look dirty! They’re extremely lazy! It’s amazing they’re still open because of what they do. I drive to the next town to do my transaction because of the incompetence of this post office! I have potsd because of this post office. I’m so disappointed because of this post office!!! I’m so hurt by the way they treat our neighborhood!

Customer Service is the WORST. It is as if the postal service placed all the bad attitude workers in Hempstead, including Supervisor Natasha. She has ZERO patience but plenty of nastiness. It is her belief that the USPS are all separate entities and are not connected. After explaining a delivery problem I had with a returned package I had sent to Georgia and requested for it to be sent again without cost, she said, "Hempstead don't have nothing to do with Georgia." She openly critized my returned package by saying," Look at the package....it's all wrinkled." I had to ask her why the attitude. Her disrespect continued! I corrected her and showed her that the address was very legible and clearly displayed, and when it was originally mailed, it was intacted, not ripped apart as it was now. As the returned reason was "vacant," I explained that the other mail sent there were delivered with no problem. She reiterated that my issue was not Hempstead's problem as they are separate and for me to contact Georgia. She abruptly closed the plastic sider window and walked away.

I had my mail forwarded on Sept 27. It takes 7-10 dys until you start receiving forwarded mail. As of today I haven't been receiving my mail. I've spoken with them and customer support several times. They have been very unhelpful and can't tell me where 2 months of mail is. My passport plus a package over $200 got delivered to my old address which I didnt receive and usps is not taking any responsibility. I'm currently trying to contact consumer affairs.

They scanned a package saying that I picked the package up I never left my house that day wasn’t even in the state. I’m going there this morning for them to explain who signed for my stuff

The post office workers refused to review damaged items that was requested via letter to bring to “a post office”. I provided the letter and even the manager refused service. If the rating doesn’t deter you and you have time, then please flood the office with dumb questions to make them work harder.

For 4 months I have not received my credit card billing statements on time as before .I have called the card company and they said the bills were sent but returned undelivered . Card company confirmed the correct address on phone call. I went to Fulton st. post office the clerk told me this could not have happened ,over talked me and refused to call his supervisor as I requested.He refused to listen.I left the post office disgusted.
