My mother been with preferred pharmacy over 2 to 3 years and the owner . Told her not to come back over something the doctor did tell her that he won’t fill her prescription. That’s how you treat your customers That’s been with you for a long time. It’s a shame I really like this place but I won’t be back here again if that’s how u going to treat people do better

This pharmacy is so amazing, they do home delivery and it has been so amazing! They do deliver quick and will have your medication ready right away. Everyone is super attentive and helpful, I wish I had come to them a long time ago!

I went to preferred pharmacy , Hempstead new York this evening about 6pm, 1/25/23. I am familiar with the workers there. One worker is an Black male whose job is to stock the shelves but this night he was behind the register. There were 3 people on line including myself. I was standing by the lotto line to play one ticket. The Black male proceeded to ignore me and took the 3rd person on line. (There is one line for the register and one for the lotto side by side) Anyway, the Black male started adding up tickets on a calculator. I am not standing there almost 10 minutes waiting for the lotto to be played. I proceeded to say to him why could not he take my lotto ticket which would be less then a second to process. He stopped what he was doing, glared at me and said so you have a problem.. I repeated why could you not take my lotto ticket first which would take less then a second. He proceeded to glare at me a said well wait your "fucking turn". I did not believe my ears and then he said, she was first before you so wait your fucking turn. I then said , negro, they gave you a promotion from stocking shelves and you think your the king now. I will speak to your manager. The manger Alex was in the back where the medications were distributed. I proceeded to tell him what happen word for word and the behavior. The manger Alex said they put him on the register because someone was out sick and he will speak to the Black male. I said okay and asked for his business card because I intend to file a complaint. I then asked to have a security guard go with me to the front of the store to process this lotto ticket. I told the security guard what happened, he was disgusted. The security guard proceeded to walk me to the front and Alex the manger called him back and ask a female clerk working in the back to go to the front and take the lotto ticket. Which she did. I then ask what was the Black mans name. She refuse to say his name. No problem, as I intend to file a complaint with the state. And I did tell the manger I would do so. Not only was I attacked as a Black Female, but as a customer. I advise that NO ONE! allow people like this to attack them with such vile behavior. Worst of all the man is a Black male. He should not be behind a counter near customers but back in the stock room where he belongs. Actually, he should be FIRED! Maybe this is what he was trying to do. but he just Encountered the wrong person. I intend to tell the Mayor of Hempstead about this as well.

Love this pharmacy!! Pharmacist very professional. You can count on them to have your prescriptions ready (or an honest wait time which only happened oncce) This important when you are taking continual daily medication/s.

The staff is professional..The ladies are kind caring and educated on helping you..I never have a problem with them having what I need,The security guys are just as friendly and helpful ,lve moved over the years and I continue to come back and use the same pharmacy..Oh and the pharmacist are wonderful guys as well..KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK PREFERRED...

The pharmacists and other workers are all professional and polite. Delivery service is so helpful. We recently moved and they still deliver every month without fail. We love them! Highly recommend
