Wonderful local hardware store stocked with every imaginable item. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Such a pleasure to have a local alternative to the big box hardware stores.

I always receive excellent service at Berger Hardware. Today Eric M provided absolutely amazing service. I brought two Farberware pots to the store and replacement handles that I bought to go on them. The handles didn’t come with bolts to fasten them on. Eric went out of his way to find the right bolts and actually cut the ends off so they fit on my pots. Then he screwed them on so my Farberware pots are like new. That’s amazing service!

Always loved this store and have been shopping here since 1985. Well I will now have to think twice about coming back here. Yesterday I purchased an IHealth Covid-19 test kit at $27.99 each. It is the IHealth brand in an orange and white box. Just went to the Ihealth website 12/29 to see the cost of the Test kits. One box is $13.98 plus $4- shipping. ihealthlabs.com I think that Berger should be ashamed of themselves for gouging people like this. Watch all your prices at Berger on EVEYTHING. I do believe the county should get involved in this type of price gouging. There are other places doing the same thing. Taking advantage during a pandemic. Berger you should be ashamed of yourself.

Sept 2021, this is a great Hardware Store with knowledgeable and friendly staff who will go out of their way to help you out. I rather come here then those big box stores even if the prices are a little higher.

I was recently reminded by why one should shop at Bergers. I was having trouble with a very small problem. The handle on the crank of a window had fallen off. It turned out it needed a cotter pin and a set screw. Finding the right set screw was tricky because the threads had been stripped. I brought the handle in to Eric in the Hardware department. He took on this challenge and spent fifteen minutes trying various options until he found something that worked. I greatly appreciated his diligence because I would have been completely lost if I tried to figure it out on my own. I have consistently gotten this kind of high quality help there.

This is an extremely unsafe place to walk into in these times. Most of their staff had their noses sticking out of their masks, and quite a few either had their masks completely off or wrapped around their chins. They wouldn't even raise their masks when customers came up to them to ask for help.
