I was just there via American Cruise Line on an excursion. I was so looking forward to this shop since it’s been in business for so long. Well, when the female business partner was asked how they make chocolate, her response was “I don’t know”. They outsource the cacao beans to another company to make the chocolate. Then I purchased a box of chocolate covered pretzels as a gift. When I got home, for whatever reason, I turned the box over. First, the candy expired as of 8-24. Second, the candy was brought in from another company located in New Jersey. What a farce!!!!

Stopped for visit with cruise ship. No samples and no demonstration on candy making. Big disappointment. Chose not to buy anything.

They do about 10 wines and ten beers (all carefully selected) and then masterfully pair each to a chocolate. It's amazing what the chocolate brings out in the drink.
Run by really nice people, this is worth your time.

Best local chocolate/candy shop. The chocolate has been a must-have since I was a kid, and is still as amazing as it always has been.More recently, I tried out the taproom and chocolate pairings. This is an amazing addition to what was already staple in our community. The live music was great too. Highly recommend. Can't wait to come back!!

The interior is gorgeous, the chocolates and gummy bears were delicious and the employees were helpful and so sweet! No pun intended ? We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

A Haverstraw institution. Charming old candy shop with incredible creations and delicious treats. If the atmosphere doesn't get you then the candy definitely will.

Chocolate is always good, but once a year you can only get jelly beans they switched and the beans fell short of anything tasty.

The chocolate is great, but they need to mark the package as perishable. The candy I ordered last year was delivered with no problems, but this year, my chocolate was all meltedI was very disappointed

I took my daughter here for their free winter candy cane making demos and it did not disappoint. No reservation is necessary but the shop is small so you really should get there early to get a good spot to view. At the end, everyone got fresh candy canes hot off the press. Afterwards, you could go into the shop and purchase all kinds of delicious candies made right there in the shop.

Candy canes show is a waste of time. Drove down from orange county with a special needs child and it was mobbed. We wanted to at least get to the store so we can purchase candy canes and chocolates and can't even get thru. They should have a small path for people who just want to shop. Fire hazard as well. Just don't go when they are doing this on the weekends bc you will be very disappointed.
