I just walked into this post office in Hauppauge on Oser Ave.
Can I tell you it’s Monday afternoon at 2:00 pm.
It was quite 2 customers!!
All I wanted was to send out a pkg to my son in the US Navy!
I asked the agent at the window if she could help me and she told me to fill out a slip.
I was very clear that I wasn’t sure how to fill it out and asked her if she could help me.She told me fill it out and bring it up.
I did but I noticed right away I didn’t do it right.
( first time sending out to ship).
She then decided to spend the next 10 minutes sharing pictures on her phone with the costumer
That came in after me.
So I finally walked out and went to UPS ,can I tell you no questions asked. They not only were so
professional they printed and sent it out no problem!
Life is so short. People need to be more nicer and respectful.
I understand we all have not so good days. But she didn’t give me the time of day!
If she doesn’t like dealing with the public she shouldn’t be working at a post office !
If you’re reading this….Just saying ,
I never write reviews.
But I was so disappointed!
I came in the post office feeling so happy to send my son a pkg and left feeling sad.

I'd like to know where the items I've mailed from this post office are actually going. I found out one of the receipts I was given has an invalid tracking number. In total, I have 2 return packages that are virtually MIA. Are they accepting them and just not mailing them??? I'm not mailing anything from here anymore.

Personally, I love this post office. The two women who work at the front are always so helpful, even after I ask them the same questions about postage over and over again lol.

This place don’t know the rules on postal property which is poster 7 and the so called mgr lady that didn’t want to give her name should be terminated immediately!!!

The women here are rude, don’t want to be bothered to do their job. Been here 3x for one package and they refuse to tell me which box is correct or even help me understand what the issue is. I understand the 2 star over all review. I’ve been to the DMV with friendlier service.

Horrible staff! They are so miserable - their attitudes are so negative. These 2 women are RUDE! Not professional at all. If they hate their jobs so much they should quit! No wonder the post office is going out of business! People want to be treated with respect. We are paying for services! Never will go back to this post office again! They need training on how to treat people with CPR - Courtesy, Professionalism and Respect!!!
