Came to this location on March 8, 2024, as a walk in at 1240. Signed into the system as a walk in and the machine told me there were two people in front of me. When it was my turn the lab technician or nurse came over to me (female, blond/silver hair, skinny, glasses, probably in late 50's) and says "what are you here for ". I tell her I just got out of my doctors appointment and he wanted some blood work and I hand her the test sheets. She looks at it and starts to shake her head and then starts berating me that "next time I need to make an appointment" because this is "too much work ". She then storms off and then walks up to the other lab technician at the desk and starts complaining about me and what I need done and that I need to make an appointment next time because they are about to close. I confronted her about this and asked her what the issue was. I then asked her if they accept walk ins? And she tells me that I need to make an appointment because they have a lot of other appointments. I then turn around and stare at the empty lobby....i was the only one in there..and I asked her where all the other appointments are . She then yells "we text them when they are ready". I asked her again...what the issue was...because my doctor requested the labs and I'm a WALK IN. She then replies "your doctor told you to come right now??!!" And then she storms off into the back. The other technician then took care of me and she was Excellent. She apologized for her coworker and said that they do accept walk ins at location and I didnt Do anything wrong. Supposedly this is not the first time this lady had a meltdown at work....and She's mentally stable to be sticking people with needles and properly handle this type of materials? Again....i would just like to thank the other lab technician for her professionalism and courtesy she extended to me after this horrible initial encounter. If you go to this location.:..stay away from that older female blond with glasses, for both your mental and physical well being!! She should be fired ASAP and banned from ever working in the health care industry ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE!!

Horrible. No butterfly needle attached because they were out of stock(what the tech told me). I was at the mercy of the techs hand directly attached to my arm with a 18 inch guage needle in my vein drawing 15 bottles!!!. Despite her steady arm I could feel her breathing through the needle because she was too lazy to attach a butterfly and chewed my ear off as she's drawing blood to the point I had to let her know to focus! Horrible. Despite walking away fine I'm angry I didn't cancel out of principle. You don't jab people if you cannot follow protocol or have the equipment.

I should have read the reviews prior to coming here. The staff are rude and unprofessional. I was told that I cannot use the bathroom and I must go home and return with a sample. I waited over an hour just to be sent home. I will never use Quest again.

Unbelievably long wait, tiny cramped waiting room, no urgency to get people in and out, no Wi-Fi and zero cell phone service. Avoid this location at all costs.

May 18,202 at 12:50pmA Hispanic woman at the front desk was very aggressive and rude. I actually thought she was going to hit me. She was upset because i came in at 12:50pm. Yesterday i came at 1pm and i was told to come at anytime before 1pm. And im here and the woman here is screaming at me . She even cursed at me . BY THE WAY , I saw other ppl reviews basically saying the same thing. And the owner only says IM SORRY OR I ,WE APOLOGIES.

I arrived at 6:00am on a Friday. I did not have an appointment so I expected to wait a while. However, I did not see a living soul anywhere. I think I was the only person in the entire building. The door was looked, I was the only car in the parking lot. I didn’t wait long because I didn’t have a good feeling about being there alone. Open times are posted as 6am Monday-Friday. If that isn’t accurate update the website and the door. I went up to the Commack location and they were open and welcoming, and I was done in 5 minutes despite being a walk-in.

The woman who drew my blood did a great job. Check in on my phone was quick and easy. On the other hand there was a young woman checking people in.. very unprofessional about people coming in without masks. Masks are not mandatory most places so I can understand why someone would come in without one. Instead of just having a box of masks ready to go she was very rude to the couple people that didn’t have one and made a point to say, loudly “anyone that comes here without a mask needs to reschedule, they will not be seen”. I’m not sure who she is to make that call but just seems ridiculous. As an emergency room nurse, just give the person a mask and move on. Your notice very clearly says masks are recommended, required per state which NY is not one. There is no need to speak to people like that..

Don’t come here for blood test, they are very bad to old people and children, they know that if children don’t understand, they will be insulted, they are professionals and know that one needle can draw blood, but they will insert more for children and old people Needle, lied to us that it is difficult to find children's blood vessels, other places only take a little, they pump a lot, lied to us that we need so many,

if i could give a 0 star rating i would. the female staff there are completely rude and arrogant. you know, as essential healthcare workers, you would think they would care. i, now, have a kidney infection from a UTI because the worker i was dealing with was forcing me to wait to provide a urine sample. taking in everybody else before me, knowing i was there before everybody else. if i could report these female workers to Corporate i would.

My experience was very bad.1. The front desk is very cold.2. Bad management: The man who helped me draw blood, unexpectedly, couldn't find any blood vein, and then he also admitted that he had a serious lack of sleep the night before and kept yawning.3. Nightmare:After I requested to replace another person to help me, they got an older lady, successfully found the vine, and successfully completed the blood draw, but today, two days after the blood draw, my entire wrist was is bruised and painful.

My bill is a problem between insurance company and Quest billing. This facility refused to draw my blood claiming it is quest policy for them to collect payments or refuse the draw. This is unacceptable and Quest told my insurance company they don't do this . They also said they added a note. Which there system could not see
