Oh my gosh. I wish I had read these reviews before I booked this service. They were offering 50% off, and I jumped @ it. Bad idea. I would never recommend doing business with this company. Completely unreliable. I have a standard straightforward order. Moving from a house to an apartment complex. So drop off an empty, pick up full, drop off full, pick up empty. After receiving a confirmation email, they just never showed up for the first drop off. Takes forever to get through to someone. They are nice when you do get through but have very little ability to produce any result. Even when getting a supervisor. The container finally showed up a day and a half later with no explanation. After loading it for a few days, I crossed my fingers regarding the pick up. They were 3 hours late for the 3 hour window they gave me. I was skeptical, but what could I do? It was completely full.
I prayed. The day of my move in, they actually dropped off on time. Thought I was home free. I paid an extra $50 for same-day retrieval and was given a 4 hour window to unload. It was empty and ready at 1pm. I was told 1:45-5:45 pick up window. I'm now writing this at 7:15am the next day. It's still here empty, and waiting to be picked up. I called 3x's begging for it to be picked up. Always waiting at least 20 minutes on hold or 30 minutes for a call back. I was told I was the driver's next stop over and over. A supervisor called "the facility" and sent emails. No response from "the facility". I don't own the property, and explained that management will consider it abandoned. The supervisor late last night actually said that unfortunately, there was nothing more he could do. That the management company would have to do what they needed. I can't actually believe this company is in business. I am now in hot water with my new apartment complex, and have only been here 3 days. Holy Cow Pack-Rat. What the heck is up? Please shut down your company and get straightened out before you take money from more customers and do this to more people. Apparently, I'm not the only one this has happened to. You should really be ashamed of yourselves.

The warehouse manager Armando was a pleasure to work with, so friendly and kind, he helped get our pod set up in a quiet and private location so we could load our U haul. Thank you Armando.

No callbacks, no delivery, and no customer service. We had a delivery prescheduled for Saturday. They said the truck had issues and would deliver on Saturday or Sunday. We texted as a follow-up on Saturday but received no reply. We texted again on Sunday, but there was still no reply. They lied repeatedly. They are closed on Sundays, so there was never any thought to deliver on Sunday. We lost money on a crew to unpack the unit. Do not use this company.

What a joke. I called for a quote and they sent a contract with no date or price. It did have multiple pages of terms and conditions. When I called again to asked for the contract to be amended with pertinent information included, they said "either sign it or cancel your order." So I cancelled. There are other options out there.

COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We had so many issues with this company between delivery and pickup. They don't come when they say they will. The driver was very rude and sarcastic. Getting someone on the phone is next to impossible. They refused to place the pod where I wanted it. Placed it crooked in the driveway so we couldn't park properly. I regret ever calling this company.

BEWARE WORST COMPANY EVER…..STAY AWAY!!!!! Easy to contact them to order a new container but good luck getting it picked up. The claim to have reached out but it’s all a lie. 2+ hour wait times on the phone to schedule a pickup which is unrealistic so my container sat 3 months longer than it should have. Now all of a sudden months later I’m hit with a crazy bill for something I didn’t need!!!! Worst company service and worst company ever!!!!!

Terrible communication my original storage “Red Rover” had closed with my belongings in storage and was transferred over to PACK RAT ever since then my experience has been THE WORST. Miscommunication always! I was told since “Red Rover” had shut down out of my control I would be given the same base rate. Now all of a sudden PACK RAT has added additional charges to total. It’s ridiculous. I also scheduled a time to get access to my storage and the day of the appointment they couldnt locate my storage unit. DO NOT use this company it’s a headache!!!

Terrible Communication! Waited all day (Thursday), called them at 4:30pm - they said - "oh we're not coming today, the best we can do is Saturday" -- THEN, without any communication they changed the pick-up to Monday. If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a pod from Red Rover and it was delivered on time. Shortly before my mov I was notified that Red Rover was ceasing operations in Long Island and that the business was picked up by Pack rat. I was supposed to have my pod picked up and delivered to my new home on Thursday Nov 9. I had to ask my neighbors to move their cars in anticipation of the big truck coming. Thursday came and went. I was then told that it would be Monday. Monday came and went. I called and was told definitely Tuesday which was yesterday. No show again. How can this business operate? My belongings are in the giant box at another location and I have had to pay people to show up to empty the pod and there's no pod. Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with the extreme lack of follow through. If the pod arrives will I have the same trouble getting it removed? I don't have a lot of space at the new house and I am going to need it gone quickly. I am just now seeing all the horror stories and I feel very frustrated. I did not select this company. They were awarded the Red Rover business. So I feel victimized twice. Will be leaving a bad review for Red Rover next.
