I've been living in Hastings for 20 years, and this is by far my favorite shop. Fonda is an absolute gem. A gorgeous selection of vintage and antique jewelry and home decor. To anyone visiting the rivertowns or Westchester county, Surburban Renewal is an absolute must visit!
As of 2/9/24 they do not accept apple pay, bring cards or cash! Trust me, you can't walk out of this quaint little shop and not buy something. There is something for everyone!

Lovely place, treasures hidden around, so look everywhere. Ask for the coin book. Only thing is that the basement does not have good cellular service. Also be careful walking in, it is a bit of a tight squeeze due to antiques everywhere.

come here every few months to see what’s there and have never been disappointed. there is a lot to look at and a diverse selection of items. prices are reasonable and owner is very nice. definitely worth to take a look inside.

We stopped in at Suburban Renewals on a friend's recomendation, and enjoyed a 20 minute visit including the downstairs area. Both floors full of antiques of all types from furniture, dressers to knick knacks , glassware, pictures etc. Great for those who like to browse. The lady in charge was welcoming and friendly. I noticed a nice oak chest of drawers, with carved wood drawer handles, for $345. The RR is nearby for cityfolk venturing out for a day in Hastings on Hudson. The store is located at the intersection of Waburton and Main Streets.

Whatever you are looking for, I bet it can be found here. If not, you most certainly will find a slew of things you weren’t looking for but now will want! From mid century modern, contemporary, to antique and everything in between. Furniture lighting jewelry nick naks art and more. Love this place. Fonda, the proprietor, is always a joy to chat with. Ask her anything. She has great taste and can steer you in the right direction

Fonda is always friendly and welcoming. She knows about her inventory and her prices are fair. The shop has a great variety of items and there is always something new to discover. Start in the back of the shop and work your way forward.
