I lived upstairs from this salon with mice and no heat, and the owners (Vera and her husband) were completely unresponsive. I think everyone should know who these people are. Also their friend/stylist Kelly did my hair once and it came out horrible.

My family and I come here on a monthly basis for root touch ups and hair cuts. This salon is the best! Vera and Lawrence are true artists. I trust them 100% with my hair and won’t go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Please don’t come here I came here to get a haircut and highlights and the hairstylist didn’t even wash my hair good a few hours after I got home I felt something on the back of my head I’m very disappointed was hoping to be able to come back but not after this if the hairstylist would’ve washed my hair properly this wouldn’t have happened!I had to wash my hair again and saw that my hair wasn’t cut right and the back of my head is still red!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Chou Chou Salon! I have been a customer for over a decade and have always left feeling beautiful! I live in Bergen County and make the trip across the bridge for their services. They are truly a team of artists who treat all of their customers like family.

They always do a nice job especially during Covid. You feel safe. Everything is sanitized and they even accommodate special appointments. I highly recommend you won’t be sorry.

Vera is a master of color! I have blonde hair and have been going to Vera for years. Great work ethic , professional. I get compliments every time I walk out of Chouchou . Haircut as good as the color. Love this place.
