“KRB is like a giant toy store for any contractor. Front end service is a little miserable but I can deal with that. I'm sure they were exhausted and nothing to worry about. I still got great service and a great price. Wish I could have made an account there as a new contractor but no one asked; just to get my company name on my receipt.Overall....5 stars. “You really can't beat the service here. Sure, the store seems a little packed in but all you need is to ask an associate and they bring you right to the product you are looking for. I have never gone here and heard, "sorry, we don't have that" because the carry everything you need for home projects and repairs. 6 out of 5 stars.”
“I thought the staff at Allen Carpet was helpful. Especially the salesman Greg who helped me. He was very knowledgeable about all kinds of floor coverings, because I wasn't sure what I wanted. He took his time with me and I was very happy.”

“I can only speak for the Garden center at this Home Depot. But I always enjoy coming, even when it's a bit of a madhouse. Lots of interesting plants and possible to get great deals. I find the staff are really chill, helpful, and nice. The experience with the staff honestly really keeps me coming back rather than seeking out other places.”

“2nd time coming to this location of home depot on gun hill road in the BX. Staff's was very helpful. The lines was little long due to cash register limited access. They are also hiring for those who are looking for a job!”
“I rent today 75 foot snake to clear out the storm worked out perfectly unfortunately Home Depot closes at 8 o’clock. They don’t print that they close the rental place at seven. No big deal. I just had to wake up earlier. Make sure I could drop it off with the attachment. Head on the sink all worked out I think I spent $75 for 630 until I could return it the next day 6 AM I’m a happy camper”
“Long overdue excellent and outstanding customer service review I've been to two Home Depots on a search for a new washing machine thinking that I was going to get someone who works in the washing machine Department with knowledge about the washing machines to only realize that these workers have no knowledge about not one washing machine that's being sold out of Home Depot which makes absolutely no sense at all because all of the workers look like they have been working in Home Depot for at least 15 to 20 years but to make a long review short wind up going to Home Depot in the Bronx on Gun Hill and found Miss Estrellita "Star" Cuautle this young lady humble kind and patient she deserves my time and five star review her customer service experience and knowledge about machines are excellent outstanding and amazing if you are looking for this kind of customer service experience visit the Gun Hill location in the Bronx and ask for Estrellita you will not be disappointed good luck on your search for your washing machine”

“Love this store, I go here a lot, but staff needs to check peoples military id's for the discount, because there's a roofing/home building business (H.P.B) in the local area using stolen valor to receive military discounts on home building materials every week at this particular store. I've personally witnessed this man doing this on a number of occasions and he's never been in the military. It's gross.”

“5 stars based on my experience with a particular manager Godfrey. This manager is priceless, despite the few past negative experience I've at this location, Godfrey truly made up for it. A customer's approach is very important in certain situations and I was in a situation that he really didn't had to provide assistance with his guidance he was a huge help. Priceless.”

“They're very friendly and helpful here. I don't know anything about hardware or home repair, but they never make me feel like I'm asking dumb questions. Today I dropped my car keyfob on the street and it stopped working. I thought I'd be spending the day waiting for AAA, but I went to Hastings Paint and Hardware and asked if they could help, and the man at the front desk took it apart, put it back together correctly, and didn't charge me a cent. I'm very thankful. Most of the negative reviews here on Yelp refer to the previous ownership. The people who work there now are terrific.”
