They refused to give me my medication one time and then gave me false information. I now get my medication at Walgreens instead with no issues.

I visited the smoothie counter, and couldn't have had a better experience. The smoothies were delicious, and the people working behind the counter couldn't have been nicer. The whole store has a lovely old-fashioned vibe, but the products being sold are up-to-date, and include items that you can't find in a typical CVS-type drugstore. I plan on going back the next time I'm in the area.

I'm grateful to have found Greenleaf. It is rare to find a pharmacy that is kind and compassionate, which they are in spades.

I’ve recently been sick and have bad to visit the pharmacy multiple times for both over the counter and prescription medications. I can’t say enough about Bill or the rest of the staff at Greenleaf! They are kind, take the time to explain things, and are super accommodating! Also, they carry generic versions of most drugs which save you tons of money. Couldn’t be happier!! Love them!!!

Now that I am older and finding myself going to the pharmacy a lot, I really appreciate Greenleaf. The excellent, friendly, helpful service is outstanding. No comparison whatsoever to CVS and Walgreens. We are very lucky to have this pharmacy in our town.

Rude staff literally every time I’ve dealt with them. They also lie about prices amongst other things. Tried to charge me for medication I’ve been taking for years that is covered by my insurance. They told me my insurance had expired. What do you know I called my insurance and that was not true. Moved my prescription to CVS and received my medication promptly and without charge. Stay far away from this place: Extremely shady business practices.

We are so fortunate to have a local pharmacy where we are known and accommodated and assisted, and which offers such a broad selection of gifts and local products as well as everything you would expect from a drugstore.

I believe in supporting local businesses, but Greenleaf needs to up its game. When they gave me the wrong medication (actually the right medication but the wrong dosage) and I returned to the store to point it out to them, they weren't particularly apologetic. It was as if they'd sold me the wrong size shoelace rather than made a serious mistake. Also, the front desk is staffed by a revolving door of young people, some of whom have good manners, some of whom don't, which makes me wonder what kind of training Greenleaf gives them in customer service. (Recently I stood behind an old man who was having trouble understanding how to use the credit card machine, and the employee was smirking and rolling their eyeballs in exasperaton.) Bill, the pharmacist I've interacted with the most, is a pleasant, friendly man. But otherwise, there's a lot of room for improvement.

I’m sorry, but can I just be the one voice of discontent?! This pharmacy is staffed by angry old people and ridiculously overpriced. It always seems to take them forever to fill my prescriptions, and sometimes I have to come back multiple times because the orders are not ready in a timely fashion. It’s too bad because a friendly neighborhood pharmacy would be lovely in this town…..

As a practicing physician regularly prescribing medication for my patients, I know the value of a good pharmacy. Now that I take medication on my own, I am grateful that my village has a local pharmacy providing personalized service tailored to my needs. Don’t let your insurance company strong arm you into mail order or the big chains. With a little effort, you can stay local & it pays. Thank you Greenleaf for caring!

If you use CVS or Walgreens for pharmaceutical needs, you don't know what you're missing at Greenleaf In Hastings where old world, old school, civilized, kindness, care, and knowledge await you. You'll see hard-to-find items displayed in a user-friendly way with lovely employees, including the owner, Ed, come to you, asking if you need assistance. There's even an ice cream counter!! If Wally Cleaver had wandered in with The Beaver, I wouldn't have blinked an eye. Treat yourself to Old Fashioned Customer Service and leave the mall pharmacies behind. Finding this treasure of a drug store in my new neighborhood has been an u unexpected pleasure. Cannot recommend them highly enough!
