I love this location. Everything is fresh. I come here every time I am in the area.I live in the Bronx. The Food town near W. 231 St & Broadway (Riverdale) sells spoiled meat & a sign at the register that you must return it in one day with the receipt or no refund or exchange. They have false use by dates as well. Will no longer shop there.

Good experience. Staff is always friendly and knows where everything is. My only issue is my own. I never remember to bring reusable bags lol

I don't mind that they changed their hours. But when thr Foodtown website says the old, longer hours it causes problems.

For a local supermarket this place has everything you need at decent prices. I used to work at this location back when it was The Food Emporium.

Not up to local standards. They refuse to bag your items after purchase. The prices are not as good as other local stores. And help, when available, is usually surly. Try someplace else.

Perfectly decent, clean, basic supermarket. Well-stocked. Giving them only three stars for two reasons: 1. They're don't go "above and beyond" in any way. There's nothing special about the place. 2. More important, their staff is poorly trained. When you check out, if you start bagging your items yourself, the cashiers won't help you. They'll stare into space or start looking at their phones while you bag your items.

Great selection of frozen foods-and fresh foods. Amazing variety and flavors of,well..everything! Fairly priced,too. Bottle recycling saves you that much more.
