There aren’t enough words to express are infinite love and appreciation the accompanied and gave all the love to our Angel baby Pedro who passed and were so comforting, we take our dog Shayla who is treated with the most attention and care. We were fortunate enough to adopt a new member of the family through their office. If this rating could describe the emotions we have felt while being here this would be a very long review and not enough characters. If you want a vets office that truly cares this is it. They are supportive, kind, and are truly one of a kind.”
“Ive been going to Dr Jaio for the past 6 years he's the best veterinarian hands down very loving very compassionate about what he does very upfront and very honest he'll answer any questions you have and takes the time out and listens my orange tabby tito always gets the best treatment by the hands of Dr Jaio and not to mention his staff is phenomenal as well”

“I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Lovisa. She is not only an excellent doctor with up-to-date knowledge of new methods, research, and medicine, but she is also very compassionate. In this age of veterinary practices being taken over by big corporates, it's so nice to still have doctors like Dr. Lovisa who takes the time to personally connect with her patients and genuinely care about the animals.Multiple times she offered treatment, and recommended specialized diet based on newest research which resulted in significant improvement in my dogs' quality of life.During an emergency, I was able to reach her and ask for advice. She was the only one I trusted with my dogs and as always, she came through for us. Even afterwards, she took the time to write me few emails and even a personal note after the passing of one of my dogs. “My family has been using NRAC for about 25 years. I remember tagging along with my dad to take my childhood dogs to their vet visits with Dr. Gardner. He was always very kind and gentle.Now that I’m an adult, I also bring my dogs to NRAC. We used to see Dr. Gardner until he retired, and now we see Dr. Antiaris and Dr. Reddy. They’re both lovely. My dogs don’t mind going to the vet because they know they’ll be treated so nicely by the staff there. The techs are all very professional as well.”

“The staff and Dr are friendly, kind and treat things with a touch of humor. My little fur ball hates going to the vet but that normal for most pets. The take you seriously and listen to you concerns. Bottom line is I trust them to help the little guy when he needs it. I’d definitely recommend them.”
“Dr. Laura Twedt is a caring, and awesome veterinarian. We were lucky to find her years ago, she provides excellent care for our Pekingese dog. She is patient with our dog, and provides detailed information about any issues, and explains, the plan of care. Her entire team is awesome, including Carlos, and all at Meadow Vet.”

“Pros: Very nice staff and informative. I felt comfortable with Dr.Nicholson and he thoroughly explained everything to me as I am a new pup owner. They gave me a free kit with my pups exam. They also have an easy to use app.Cons: they are overpriced. I wish I would’ve known the chargers beforehand. The other local vets charge about $60 less for shots and exam. All together I spent $300-$400 here.”

They're loving and caring with our fur Baby. Whether is for a quick shots follow up or surgery, Buttcheek loves the team (yes, our dog's name is Buttcheek).They're great to the pets and to us humans! So accommodating! My schedule is difficult, but they would even get to me on the phone for follow up, making sure Buttcheek is doing good. Love them!! ❤️”

“I have never been more impressed. Dr. Saunders squeezed my cat Max in even though she had absolutely zero appointments available. She called me to make sure he was OK. (I had left a message for her, telling her he was not using his back left leg) She took her time with him, her prices are affordable and she’s an excellent veterinarian.my cat Max indeed needed to see her ASAP and she made sure that happened”

This is at least partly because they always give you the time and attention that you and your pet need when they're with you. “I changed from Yorktown Animal Hospital to Thornwood Animal Hospital due to the distance from my home, and it has proven to be the best choice for my pup. Dr. Patel and the staff are fantastic, caring, and always create a positive atmosphere. My dog usually gets anxious at the vet, but here he appears to be at ease and even enjoys the visits. The level of professional care is exceptional. When my pup fell ill, Dr. Patel personally called me with the analysis results and has consistently been available when needed. Without a doubt, it's the best veterinary hospital I've experienced. Outstanding work and service!”

“Absolutely the best.Let me start by saying that I’m a crazy person who treats my dog like a human baby. I love her more than anything in the world. She also has terrible teeth, common to her micro-breed. (Little dogs = little teeth = tiniest bit of decay can destroy a tooth in a blink.)Dr. Surgeon and his assistant Maria are AMAZING. The office is small and intimate and so welcoming and warm. The technology they use is state of the art and the doctor even showed me how the various imagining machines worked, and he explained in detail what he saw and what he did. He was so kind and thorough and honestly— I didn’t think they made doctors like this anymore. He’s like someone from a totally different era; so wise and decent. He told me “I still do this because I love the animals” and that’s clearly true.Maria was also so warm and loving to my little dog and I could tell my pup felt truly comfortable and at ease with her. I was so nervous about having my dog’s teeth dealt with but Dr. Surgeon and Maria honestly could not have done more to put my mind completely at ease.DO NOT HESITATE to bring your dog here. And please note, anyone who has left a bad review (go ahead and read them) is complaining solely about money. Well; no, it’s not cheap to have your animal go under anesthesia and have complicated surgical procedures performed. That’s why there’s pet insurance. I’m sorry if it’s going to cost you a lot, but that’s not a reason to blast a truly gifted and deeply caring doctor. No one can possibly have anything bad to say about how their animal was treated here, because it’s impossible to imagine Maria and Dr. Surgeon reacting to any creature with anything less than total professionalism and love. So glad I found them and so happy to be able to return for cleanings in the future.”

And at our request, he came to our house to put her down, and the procedure was so peaceful and calming for our darling dog. I would recommend him without hesitation.”

“Dr Thayer and his staff are caring, attentive and friendly. I have an old cat (19 years) and Dr Thayer considers the whole cat in deciding how to treat her so that she is her best self. They also make sure I understand what is going on with her and that I can follow any instructions he gives me. We also board her and she is always happy to come and stay with them. Thank you”
