Geraldinas took my size 12 discountined sample, by the fabulous David Tutera, and implemented my vision to create the most incredible wedding dress. I wear a 4 and the dress needed to be cleaned and reconstructed. Sample dresses are worn by all brides to try it on and this dress needed a lot of love. I am so thankful for her team and her expertise!!

Geraldina’s Couture is fantastic. My teenage daughter had two dresses made for her, with multiple alterations each time, and the dresses have been excellent every single time. In addition to doing high quality work, Geraldina and her entire staff are kind, great to work with, and very knowledgeable. The entire shop really works with you to make sure the dress is exactly what you want.

Had such an unfortunate experience here. I would hesitate to rate it highly. The owner's behavior was disappointing, very rude/ aggressive toned. Not to mention way over priced. 100% taking advantage of customers charging high prices because of the location, has absolutely nothing to do with quality of work.I visited the shop for a dress alteration (hemming at the bottom and a little take in at the top) owner wasn’t in at the time, so the lady who pinned my dress told me after the fact, that she’d call me to let me know the price because she was new and didn’t know how much to charge me.I was contacted by the owner a day or two later with a quote exceeding $400; for a dress that was purchased for $150 at Kleinfield. I was shocked! When I asked her why so much, I was told it was because she basically had to “make a new dress”. Feeling uneasy about it all, I expressed my desire to come by the shop to pick up my dress to take it elsewhere. I brought my sister with me, which I was so glad I did, because she was able to witness the owners true demeanor.When we arrived to the shop, we were greeted with such an attitude. After having been yelled at by the owner, I was told I had to pay a $60 fee before before retrieving my dress for wasting her time and pinning the dress. I didn’t fight it and paid her the $60. Curiously, once the payment was made the owner began removing the pins off my dress, which seems counterintuitive being that I just paid for the pining service. I had to tell her to stop before she ruined my dress.Reflecting on the experience, I ultimately entrusted my dress to a different tailor in Ardsley. They had to readjust the pins on the dress and address a yellow chalk stain on the bottom of the dress, which they found surprising as white chalk would have been more appropriate to use. I paid $150 for these alterations and it was done within 3 days. I have since become a loyal customer. So I guess I owe you a thank you for that. And best part, the owner treats her customers with respect, like their own family or friends.Please note that this incident occurred some time ago, and I apologize for the delay in sharing my feedback. This experience is the worst I’ve ever had at any establishment, and one I will never forget.

The best service. Geraldina was very polite and helpful. I was very satisfied with my costume made gown. Great environment as well. I would highly recommend this atelier in Scarsdale NY.

I cannot begin to express how wonderful of a job and how happy I am with the outcome of the dress they created.The designer made my dream dress come true. The second I walked in she knew my body and had unique ideas to make this dress come to life. I highly recommend and could not be happier!!! Made me a blanket of all my father’s leftover clothing of when he passed away charged me $850 then tried to tell me it was 1000 then moved it up to 2500 very unprofessional gave it to me in a plastic bag and I have a whole text message from her how rude and disgusting she is very unprofessional, tries to rob you do not go there ? and the nerve of her to keep the pillow of my fathers face so if anybody sees this pillow displayed, she is a crook that was all I had left of my father. She’s a very cold hearted person.Service: Design
