Buyer beware! Bassett does not properly warranty or stand by its products. Bassett's fabrics are not suitable for upholstery and the cushions are substandard. Save your money and go to Ashley Furniture or Raymour and Flanigan to buy couches. They are cheaper and are more durable than Bassett Furniture.
We have 2 adults and no children in my household. I paid $5k for 2 couches on sale for my family room. I paid a $1k surcharge when I changed to a “performance” fabric. Within 2 months I called the manufacturer to tell them about the abnormal wear/tear on the fabric and cushions. I was told that pilling is normal and NOT covered under warranty. They sent me a complimentary tool to scrape the fabric to remove the pilling. The tool is not doing the job. Also, customer service instructed me to open the zipper on the cushions once a month to allow air to fluff up the seat cushions ???.
It’s been 9 months and the couches look like I had them for 9 years! My R&F couches did not look this bad when I replaced them after 10 years. I sincerely regret this purchase. Save yourself the aggravation/money and shop elsewhere!

We went to the Hartsdale, NY store and worked with Maria who was amazing. She was helpful and followed up by sending email status updates. Delivery was amazing as well - received updates on the delivery date - delivery men were also amazing, neat and polite. Love my furniture! Highly recommend shopping at Bassett! Thanks Maria!

It was a great experience shopping at Bassett. Maria, our design consultant was a tremendous resource in helping us to make our decision. She pointed out various options and how they could work together. She was the perfect combination of personable and knowledgeable. We ended up purchasing our dining table from Bassett and would highly recommend the store.

Wanting to get inspiration for a possible furniture update in my home, I stopped by Bassett Furniture in Hartsdale. I was immediately greeted by a lovely woman named Maria who not only works there but seems to be Bassett's biggest cheerleader. Even though I explained I was "just looking" Maria treated me as if I was buying the store out. She was knowledgeable and extremely talented in design. She took me around the store and I was pleasantly surprised Bassett had beautiful area rugs and outdoor furniture, as well as traditional room items. Maria was a joy and no doubt when the time comes to actually redo my home, I will definitely revisit Bassett and Maria. .. happy I stopped in !

Working with Maria Ciringione was great! We’ve gotten a couple of items from her including our kitchen table and chairs and a custom couch and ottoman set. Maria has a great working knowledge of Bassett’s inventory, makes great recommendations and is incredibly patient with her time. You can tell that she genuinely cares about her customers and ensuring they get the absolute best! Would definitely recommend a consultation with her!

We could not be happier with our Bassett Furniture from the Hartsdale, NY showroom. From the first time I walked in and met Maria, and then my subsequent visits with Jane, the experience was seamless. They are so easy, personable, and fun to work with. Beyond that, the quality and delivery time exceeded our expectations. We received our custom furniture in just over four week from the time we placed our order. And the delivery team was an absolute pleasure to deal with. All that is left now is new pillows!On the strength of my recommendation, a dear friend just placed an order with Bassett in the Massachusetts area.Thank you to all who made this such a seamless experience.

I had the most awesome experience ever! After searching for a new white L-shaped couch (but a specific design I had in my head and couldn't find anywhere) I stumbled upon Bassett. From the moment I walked in, Maria Ciringione was a breath of fresh air. She was real, honest, and went above and beyond to help me get the couch of my dreams. She put together countless options for me and was so patient with my many "I need to see that first one again". In addition, she regularly checks in with me (I am still loving my couch!) and helps me with other style design questions I have while I await my next purchase. Maria and her manager have also been so helpful in donating materials to my school which my students benefit from in art class. Maria, thank you so much for helping me find my dream couch. You are the best!
