3rd time staying at the Hancock. Rooms are big and clean. Honest Eddie's bar is a great little spot. Food is good service is very good.
Nearby activities: Fishing and hunting the Upper Delaware River area
Safety: I feel very safe.

We have personally stayed at The Hancock House Hotel and as a result, chose them as the hotel for the out of town guests for our wedding. We loved the historical history and renovations that the hotel has undergone. The owners, Lynn and Russell Bass, provided a lot of support and local advice for our wedding on what vendors they recommended and things to do locally. Our guests that stayed with them really remarked how they enjoyed the hotel with its restaurant, bar, and coffee shop conveniently located on the first floor, as well as how clean and attentive the staff were.

Absolutely beautiful place with friendly people. I chose to have my reception here and it couldn’t have been any more perfect. This is definitely a great place to visit, stay, and eat. I can’t recommend enough.

My friends and I are counselors at a near by camp and we had to pull over to wait out a tornado warning preventing us from driving back to camp. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as they let us wait out the storm as well us help us track it. We ended up booking a room and the staff was super helpful, even gave us a deck of cards to play with while we waited and gave us toothbrushes and toothpaste as we were extremely unprepared. Room was great and spacious our only downside was the beds were a bit hard, and uncomfortable. Great stay overall definitely recommend!!

Rooms: I currently have a bad experience with that hotel after I left, two weeks passed and in the third week they charged me for a week without me being there currently and without giving authorization to charge me. I am trying to contact them by email and they do not respond bad experience with that hotel

Nice hotel in quaint town of Hancock. Front office staff was very accommodating and helped get us checked in a bit early so we could make our concert. Rooms are clean but could use some updating- but there was plenty of pillows and towels! Welcoming fireplace area. Nice Bar/restaurant that seemed to get a good crowd. From bar we Ordered a chicken wrap to-go that was delicious and served with hot crispy fries. We didn’t have much time in the morning but breakfast came out quickly with a hot cup of coffee to help fuel us before we checked out. Overall appreciated our stay at the Hancock hotel, would not hesitate to recommend this place to others.
Rooms: Large rooms, do need some updating but plenty of linens.
Safety: Hotel doors locked at 12:30 every night.
Doors locked seemed secure.
Food and drinks: Good bar and breakfast menus.

We often enjoy breakfast at the hotel. We reside locally so don’t need to stay, but our experiences dining here are always enjoyable. The food is good, dining room/bar and bathrooms are clean and service is always friendly. Thank you.

Walked in with my friend expecting this place to have friendly smiles, since I’ve worked there years ago while in highschool. The one waitress was super nice. My friend wanted something to go and we told the waitress this. We looked over the menu and then my friend went up to the younger waitress, who wore a basketball shirt, I’m assuming in highschool. No smile, no friendly gesture, as if we were a bother when my friends asked ‘can I place my to go order with you?’. Asked for a BLT no tomato and a basket of chips.
15 min to wait for the food, sat outside waiting. My friend asked if they would bring it out, and I told him I honestly don’t know, considering the attitude this young lady had. He walked in to wait, he said one of them were on their phone. He walked out and was like ‘I don’t think they gave us the chips’, they didn’t. Walk back in and I asked, I’m sorry but we orders chips. They looked at their slip, no chip was put in the order. They were not busy to warrant not paying attention to what my friend had asked for . Two items.
The unfriendly frowning face, didn’t make me feel welcomed by this one waitress.

Waitress was annoyed when what we preferred was out of stock and it made her give more effort to ask what we wanted instead. Absolutely horrible service from an older women who was the only person working.
