They passed the buck on my issue. Gave me alternative phone numbers. I was looking for information on doing a soft release on a squirrel and the receptionist couldn't be bothered

Great tour with volunteer. He was very patient and explained why each wild animal was under their care. It's a hospital for wild animals that need care. Some can never go back to the natural world.

This is a great service to injured wildlife...the only concern I have is that the enclosures for the birds seem small for a few of the bigger birds...only the horned owl & the turkey vulture seems to have more spacious habitat.....Also, I wish there were more displays outside now during the limitations of the pandemic....but I also recognize that this is more of a working animal rescue/hospital so their focus is on providing medical treatment & also education to local schools which is very important!!! ????✌?

This wildlife rescue would get five stars if it were not for the executive director Ginnie. I called the rescue and told them I had found a baby raccoon. After explaining the situation they told me to bring the animal to them. After driving 40 minutes to get there and explaining that the baby racoon's mother had been trapped and removed from a neighbor's house and it was wandering around by itself in the daytime. The executive director Ginnie questioned me like I was a criminal and then accused me of lying and insulted me in front of my son. Saying that the only reason I brought the baby raccoon there was to protect my own animals. And then proceeded to tell me to take the animal back with me right before it went to the bathroom all over itself and Ginnie stuffed the scared little guy back into the carrier I brought him in. I will NEVER again donate to this person and I will never again recommend them to anyone. Being nice isn't hard. Not in the least bit, and you failed miserably at it.
