Some years ago I had a Cukoo clock repaired . It was the most awful experience, the owner was aggressive and rude. The clock repair lasted a few weeks. I was overcharged for the repair. Don't use this repair shop.

Someone put it very eloquently- the Owner is a lunatic and a con man. I had the EXACT same problem as Dana S with Rolex. Never asked him to open it- took that upon himself- and before "Fixing" the problem he asked for $100 in advance. When I asked for my watch back he became abusive- came out from behind the counter screaming at me to get out of his store. I believe he went out of business and he has no one to blame but himself. Needs to go back to school to take business 101. If he had personal problems I'm sorry to hear that- if not, goodbye and good riddance. Next lunatic to go is the owner of Kreigs bakery- another lunatic who screamed at an out of town guest of mine who wanted to bring me a piece of cake. Filthy store who gives Hampton Bays a bad name. Clean the place up or sell it to someone who appreciates the neighborhood enough to represent us well.

This man is a crook. I brought my watch in for a battery change after which the water ch developed condensation on the inside. He then stated that the watch had to be sealed with his special machine$. 3 months later the back of the watch popped open, brought it back to him and he stated that the threads were stripped. He was the only person who ever opened the watch so...he and his machine did the damage. He denied any responsibility.

Went to get my watch fixed as the crown had been damaged. He took a really long time to do anything and never contacted us. When we went to ask how it was going, he told us that he was unable to get the part and we needed to send it to the company itself. We noticed that the watch was missing a piece in order to lock the strap in place and he told us that it didn't matter. We insisted as we had paid 50 dollars for his services and it was unacceptable that he would return the watch with nothing done and a missing piece. He got mad when we told him it needed the piece and started cursing at us, throwing the f bomb, and told us to leave. Never going back to this place again and I would never recommend it to anyone.

I came to figure out why my watch isn’t working he told me it was the battery and he tried to charge me 40$ to change the battery. He changed the battery and if still didn’t work then he looked at it again & said something else needs to be changed and the piece costed 30$ but he’s charging me 130$ to change it, so when I changed my mind about fixing my watch and nicely told him never mind he started yelling and freaking out on me and cursing. Terrible customer service in my entire life.

I asked him how much it would cost for him to fix my watch he took it fixed a little part that took him less then 5 minutes and then continued to charge me 20$ when I was only asking for the price. When I told him I was only asking for the price he got mad and told me to leave and take the watch.

HE IS A PSYCHOPATH, STAY AWAY. got cursed at and screamed at. He worked on my broken rolex for only 15 minutes. on the wall it states 20$ per hour for benchwork. 15 MINUTES WITH NO RESULTS and asks me for 100$ for the work. He screamed at me when I wouldn't pay and is a con man lunatic. I am calling the BBB. CLOSE YOUR BUSINESS AND EVERYONE STAY AWAY!!!

Most of the watches I own are automatic but the ones with batteries come here. $5 to change the battery and he even sets the proper time for you

Stay away from this place. Went in to replace two watch batteries. He tried to charge $30. When I complained about the high price he went ballistic, yelling at me, calling me cheap, cursing with the f bomb, and threatening me. He wouldn't take my credit card, popped the batteries out and threw the watches at me. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone in my life. When he tries to compare himself to jewelry stores in Southampton he's not even close. This guy is a psychopath! I don't know how or why he's in business. Obviously he has no customer appreciation.

Tried to Sell me clock for over twice the clock price found on eBay including deliver. He agreed to sell the clock for $50 over eBay price. After buying it died in 8 months. He refused to fix the clock unless I payed abut the price I originally payed.

Needed a new battery for my watch. Alex, who was there, said no problem and changed it. He then told me it was $15.00! I told him that batteries only cost $1.00 or less. He said that he's in the business to make money. Lousy attitude. Never again will I walk into his shop, and I advise anyone reading this to do the same!

This store has moved to 39 West Montauk Highway. I have had watches serviced here for many years. The most recent involved a watch in need of a new band which I did not think could be accomplished. The gentleman managed to repair the watch after an hour of time and was very reasonable with his charge. And it looks great. We need stores like this to survive and I would highly recommend this one. I love Amazon, but I doubt they would have managed this job.
