I checked their website before heading there for a notary. Under notary services (on the website), it says “Make an appointment OR stop by.” Then on the appointment page, it states, “Appointments are for your convenience, but not required for any services.” So it states it twice on the UPS Hamburg page that you can just show up for a notary. The guy there refused to help me and said I needed an appointment. When I showed him the website and referenced that no appointment was needed, he said it wasn’t true for their store and that I needed an appointment because they were too busy. I was the only person in the store. The next appointment time was two hours later. I explained that I had a newborn at home and needed my paper notarized for going back to college and not only did they refuse, but they were not very nice about it. It just feels like the world is calloused now and doesn’t see the humanity in people. Like I’m a full-time mom recovering from a c-section, who is trying to go back to school - and I got the unlucky draw to prove my identity for financial aid (they do random ID audits). I did my due diligence of checking their website before securing childcare and heading to their store. I ended up going nearby to a bank and a nice woman did it in five minutes for free. Just be nice to people! You never know what they may be going through.

I had 8 things to ship. I needed lables and help. 4 packages to put items in which is a several item sale. Workers just had to help finish tables and send. Thought that was what a store with standing help was for. Bye. 1 sent zero sales. I'll go elsewhere.

They won't tape a box for you and try to make you buy a roll of tape for anything. Talk about not providing the bare minimum of service.

Refuses to ship cleaned glass bottles out despite being allowed to Manager claims they don't allow this due to the alcohol policy. But no alcohol is present or in anything just old empty antique bottles. Called UPS to confirm and was told the bottles are allowed as long as no liquored inside. Appears this manager really has issues as a lot of reviews appear to be about them. Get it together or get a new manager already and learn the policy's

This staff is always patient and helpful. Today I had a shipping question ( usually I just drop off ). The experience and interaction was superior and shows great customer service . The store employee (121544 from receipt ) was very very helpful and I much appreciate her time and knowledge

I always get polite & efficient service with very little wait time but the most recent package I sent was astounding. It was delivered to another city 3 1/2 hours away in less than 24 hours in fabulous shape and it was just ground service not expedited. I did my own wrapping and taping, and it was a reused box so I was hoping it would hold up and that I taped it sufficiently. it was fabulous service. The children who received the package were thrilled.! oh and the price was reasonable! THANK YOU! Gary was great!

I’ve had 2 employees be excessively rude here. Today I took some packages that had expensive items in then. I always add an extra label incase one is damaged (as it says is fine according to UPS and their website). The woman lectured me and scribbled over my extra labels. Even when I drew attention to this is acceptable according to their website and my 25 years of online selling and shipping.
The other experience was for an Amazon return where I missed it needed to be packaged but did have it in a box. My fault on that. I asked for a piece of tape and the girl told me they can only give tape for boxes under 12” and my package was 14”. I get that’s the stores policy but took time to come here and you couldn’t make a 2” exception! To me that says you don’t care about you customers. I have had much better experiences with the UPS store in BJs Plaza and will be going there from now on.

Everyone is so pleasant. I've used this store often and line moves very fast. Twice now they were assisting older customers that needed help with copies and they were so patient with them I was so impressed.
