“I am a very amateur, aspiring-woodworker getting my garage set up for some beginners woodworking so I went to Lowe's in Halfmoon Friday morning. Overwhelmed by the drill bits selection I must've looked lost because my savior, Lowe's employee Nick, noticed I looked lost and asked if he could help with anything. I explained I am just starting out to get tools i need to build things - I explained the specific projects and Nick hooked me up. He didn't bombard me with things i don't need, he was patient and spent what I want to say was a good 30-45 minutes with me, helping me choose drill bits because i had no clue what to look for. he suggested items and explained the difference between an impact driver and a drill (i had no idea). He didn't talk down to me or make me feel like a "silly woman doing a man's job" kinda way. Nick was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I appreciate his patience and time he spent with me. He kept asking what else could he help me with, until I finally let him go. That's the way I like to feel as a customer walking into a place. Thank you Nick, you're the man!”

“I was in the hardware section looking for a way to improvise a repair to my broken patio umbrella. Carl from Kitchens noticed my puzzled look and came over and asked if he could help. He was very patient and took plenty of time with me to gather the right bolts, nuts, flat and locking washers to make sure the solution would work. Carl, everything worked great and the umbrella is back in action! Thank you, Carl for your help, and thank you to Curtis Lumber for this valuable personal touch that is so often lacking these days. I heartily recommend Curtis Lumber!”
“The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and answered our questions. I am looking to purchase a rooster maybe 2 months old. I have 10 hens.Here’s a question May 8 of this year I purchased 8 chickens. I let my granddaughter and her friend pick them out while I paid and purchased feed. Anyway I have 3 chickens who are about the size of a mourning Dove. They are 3 months old but so little cay you tell me what kind they are. I have learned my lesson never again will I leave 2 16 year old girls to pick any more chicks alone. They also picked 2 meat chickens to save their lives”
