I went to Home Depot because Lowe's was no help. I needed plumbing help. I asked to have someone come to plumbing to help me. I waited for almost 10 minutes, looking myself for what I needed. Went & asked for help again. I waited almost 10 minutes again & still no one. I left. Poor customer service when you can't get anyone to help you. I finally just left. Will need to find someplace else to go!

Great staff that work hard to provide excellent customer service. It's not always perfect, but neither are the customers.

Would love some more nutrient selection however they do have a great selection of plants. Careful when picking bags of soil bugs will fill the smallest holes.

We were very disappointed with our visit today. We were purchasing bark mulch and while the price was awesome, there was no way to purchase the mulch that was on sale online for pick up. The clerk did offer to have someone help us load our 20 bags, but we waited 10 minutes and no one came. We are so grateful to a complete stranger that was not an employee of Home Depot that offered to help us load when he saw us struggling.

I was greeted by Connie, asking how she could help. After telling her I wanted copy of key made, she directed me to the isle and said someone would be there momentarily. Nick said he would see if they had the one i needed and made a copy. Then he walked towards my car with me to make sure it worked. I told him to go ahead of me, saying he could check it and be back before I could get there with my walker. We had a great conversation, revealing his beautiful soul. The price was so low, I asked for more copies. Then he walked to the register with me, and Connie assisted my check out. What an awesome staff of true service souls!

the fact that the whole process other than paying for the stupid refridgerator was a nightmare. We were very clear when we purchased the unit that it was to be installed and that we had a copper water line, our salesmen went so far as to sell us a new braided line for install. we were also told they would remove the old unit shich i did all of the legg work for them. i took the doors off i shut the main water off i removed the door from the hinges in the garage before they got there. when the driver showed up at least 45 minutes later than they said they would be their all they did was dump the fridge in my kitchen and then proceed to tell me they cant do the water line because the shut off was in the laundry room not the kitchen then said the the handles are easy to put on do you want me to us to do that or do you think you can??? at that point i was so aggrivated with the whole situation i said just leave and ill do it. so now ive paid for a service i didnt get i paid for a braided line i didnt get and will go out of my way to let everyone know of the horrible service we received. what would happen if i wasnt home and it was just my wife their waiting on the delivery thinking everything was supposed to be taken care of??? stuck with a fridge in the middle of her kitchen all day until i got home.. or better yet tried to do something herself and got hurt in the process. the whole experience was a nightmare and i would expect someone other than the customer service rep my wife talked to and said "" yea that happens all the time"" to contact me about this horrific delivery experience!!!!!

Do not order anything from Home Depot if they continue to use NSD for delivery. The Rigid Jointer I purchased has been sitting in the NSD terminal for 8 days. They are non responsive. Home Depot has to stop using these people.

This is my go to place for buying supplies for my rental and home renovation projects. The location is convenient and located in a great but busy location. So make sure to time your travel and avoid office hours. This time around I scored a great deal online and was just there for a store pick up. I got a 3 wifi enabled garage door openers for $250..... Usually you pay that for one. The staff is super friendly but reasons for cutting down on the rating is the wait time in the lines for pick up and I have tried the curbside pick up as well, and that has taken me even more longer. Most of the staff there is knowledgeable, if not they will find a person to answer your question. Home depot is one of the leaders in building supplies. I have heard the company is more an innovator and risk taker in their industry.

Don't believe what any of the Home Depot Installation sales reps tell you about their windows/doors "Double Lifetime Warranty." It's simply not true. Labor is not covered beyond 1 year! Look at their contract verbiage below. When I inquired about the discrepancy, this was my reply: "My understanding is the line references our lowest warranty that was available on an American Craftsman window which is 1 year and the others would in essence be an upgrade to it. I can assure you having been with Home Depot in the window installations business for over 8 years now they consistently favor on the side of taking care of the customer including any service concerns and issues." It's b******* because the salespeople will be long gone by the time you file a claim. It's what's in the contract that you sign that matters in the eyes of the law; not a marketing brochure or said in an email. Plygem/Simonton's customer service rep, Mikka, told me that they get lots of complaints from unhappy customers when Home Depot does not honor the warranty. Moreover, they told me HD's (underpaid) subcontractor installers make a lot of mistakes. All confirmed by Simonton's supervisor, Lori Hendershot. The 6500 series window itself is warranted for 20 years and prorated afterwards. This is taken from their contract. Workmanship is only for 1 year! 7. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES: (a) Warranty: Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, Home Depot warrants for 1 year from the completion date that all Services shall (i) be performed with good workmanship and (ii) conform to the requirements of the Agreement. During the warranty period and within a reasonable time after receiving notice from You of a warranty claim, Home Depot may, at its sole option (i) correct or replace each Defect, or (ii) remove each Defect and refund the full purchase price thereof to You; provided, however, that all warranties are voided if (1) anyone other than Home Depot or Service Provider performs work upon or otherwise modifies any materials or Services provided under this Agreement, or (2) You fail to pay Home Depot as provided in this Agreement. (b) Limitation on Warranties: THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 7A, IN THE WARRANTY SECTION OF THE AGREEMENT, IF ANY, OR IN THE STATE SUPPLEMENT, IF ANY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE OR GIVEN BY HOME DEPOT OR SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY FOR FITNESS OF PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. HOME DEPOT'S EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE VOIDED FOR ANY DEFECT CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, ACTS OF GOD, LACK OF PRESCRIBED OR STANDARD MAINTENANCE, OR IMPROPER CARE/CLEANING. ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES PROVIDED FOR GOODS, MATERIALS, OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PASSED THROUGH BY HOME DEPOT TO YOU, AND YOU AGREE TO LOOK SOLELY TO SUCH MANUFACTURER FOR REMEDY OF ANY DEFECT IN SUCH GOODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT. HOME DEPOT MAY ASSIST YOU WITH WARRANTY CLAIMS AGAINST MANUFACTURERS.

So apparently when you select the option for them to hook up your washer and dryer that doesn’t include them plugging in your drainage hose, power cord, or your vent for the heater. Awful delivery “workers”. Used the washer for the first time this morning and walked into a basement full of water!! ? How do you not check for those things when that is YOUR JOB. Totally unacceptable! I do not recommend buying from here!

Came here today and waiting an hour for someone just to come help us. All of the employees I saw said "hold on" when asking them for help. Many just walked by me even calling them for help. What a joke this place is.

I inquired if they are able to replace a few of my kitchen door fronts and cabinets. The salesperson said they could and that someone would contact me and said it would be a free estimate. After speaking to a rude and arrogant representative, Samantha, who stated they aren't interested unless it was all the cabinets. I don't appreciate getting misinformation at the start and rude dismissive attitude at the end.

I purchased a refrigerator/freezer and a dishwasher. Hired installation from Home Depot. Not only did the guys forget to install some accessories, one was very rude when I called right away to have them come back and complete. I called customer service at my local Home Depot and they were WONDERFUL and also took 10% off of my purchase. So the number two rating is for the installers, and I give 5 stars to customer service.

Just got back from Home Depot Clifton Park. I was trying to find Lysol. Tried to purchase alternative items and the rude customer service rep (along with his 2 coworkers) stood at the customer service desk doing NOTHING and telling me I have to go to a register. I decided to do that - next thing I know this guy started following me around the store. Would not recommend this store.
