Cutest little shop on our trip to the Catskills! They have a little bit of everything, we were able to get fire starter, cold drinks, and baseball caps to commemorate our trip. They also have a cute little icecream window and it was superb! I had mint chocolate chip and brownie batter and my partner had vanilla and they were stellar ✨

I didn't enter the general store, I just ordered the ice cream. Hence, my rating is based solely on the ice cream. This was not your supermarket or chain store ice cream! This is the ice cream that the warriors in Valhalla are licking. I was so dumbstruck by the flavor of my servings that I did not even think of taking a picture for my review.
After a nice hike up the falls drop by and get your at least 2 scoops. Why? They have so many flavors you want to savor as many as you can. They also do sampling but I never been into that. I just go for it and if I like it I like it. Today, I loved it!

I was in the area for a weekend trip and my group was craving ice cream after our long hike. Stopped by Twilight General Store to get some old fashioned ice cream! They have a good variety of flavors and they do allow taste testing. The Peanut Butter Pie was very peanut buttery, while the Deep Sea Treasure featured some sea salt chocolate truffles in a background of caramel ice cream. Staff weren't super friendly but polite. Prices were very reasonable. Credit cards are for $10 minimum but even a 3-scoop is about $7 something. Although the store itself closes at 7pm, the ice cream window might close a little earlier. Some parking spots available in the front, but no seating options.
