I had a problem today obtaining some scripts for a friend that I'm taking care of so I spoke with the pharmacist (Meggi?) and she went out of her way trying to call the doctors and really helped me out. In today's world its hard to find someone who goes the extra mile. Kudos to her for helping us out.

This Walgreens pharmacy has the worst customer service and I’m angry I’ve wasted so many years using them for my prescriptions. You get nothing but a runaround from everyone. I’ve been lied to, left on hold for 30+ minutes because nobody likes to take accountability.I will be switching to a new pharmacy for future scripts.

I was there today12/13/23, needed help finding a supplement from pharmacy($40-$70), I was told “woman just walked out that can help, he said “didn’t you just see her” Really?? Asked if there was a pharmacist there ”he said no”. Who is filling medications, I thought. In the past, also had problems with prescription looking differently, but didn’t tell me. Had me go back in to make sure I received the right medication for high blood pressure, after Walgreen told me to bring it back in. Only took me 45 minutes to drive back, and then tell me it was fine. (and didn’t look at meds). Will be changing pharmacy.

Went to this Walgreens today at 1:17 for drive thru Rx pick up. DRIVE THRU sign said closed 130-2 for lunch. At least follow your own time frame...will have to make another trip.

Pharmacy staff is rude. Pharmacy manager, all but one pharmacist, technicians, even the interns are rude, unhelpful and entitled. Excessive wait times and reduced hours to top it off. Switched to market 32 and have never been happier. Walgreens, you’re FIRED.

Horrible pharmacy help. The female pharmacist was worse.I went to pick up a prescription and told the Pharmacy tech at least twice I have coupon from Good Rx. My wife and I got the feeling she was trying to force the transaction. When she came back and asked which card, I asked how much since she never took the coupon. When I reminded her about the coupon, she said the transaction already went through.They brought over the pharmacist. She wouldn't even look at the coupon and insisted I had paid the higher price last time (not sure what that had to do with it for this transaction). Finally she asked for the BIN number and insisted the price on the coupon was the higher price even though it was crossed it with a lower price.I've been hearing for awhile this Walgreen's is short staffed. However they always worked hard to get you best price. Not sure what has happened.

Waited twenty minutes for them to even check if the pills were in stock when I was the only customer at the pharmacy. Ridiculously unorganized and when I asked after twenty minutes if they knew how much longer it would be they told me to just stand to the side and they were still looking. Forty minutes to refill a prescription.

Wonder why you are on hold with the pharmacy for an hour? Just walk in the store and youll see the phone hanging right there from the wall so they dont have to listen to it ring or handle anyone thats actually trying to call in. Place sucks. Took 2 years to finally have them tell me it was an insurance issue and not the prescription “being delayed” or “out of stock”. Hey, screw it, its not like i need inhalers to breathe. Place needs to be sued

Just like all of the other reviews, I didn't even want to give this place 1 star. So many bad experiences, there isn't enough room to write them all. The management straight down to the last employee needs to be terminated! This location needs to be closed. The unprofessionalism, the lies, poor customer service, the poor pharmacy practices, the complete disregard for human beings, THE EXCUSES! all uncalled for. Enough said, let's close this place down!

Save yourself tons of time and frustration and do not get your prescriptions sent here. In my experience, they do not fill prescriptions unless you show up in person to bug them and then wait 15 minutes for them to fill it. If you have a question or concern and call them, I promise you will be on hold for more than an hour before you talk to someone. If they don't have your prescription in stock, they will order it but it will take forever to arrive and no one will update you as to when it will come.

The management of this pharmacy is horrific. Frequent unexpected closures, constant changes to limit the number of hours the pharmacy is open. Despite offering options to refill scripts through the web or their automated phone system, refills remain unfilled for days resulting in having to call the pharmacy to speak to someone. The decline in service started long before Covid when they acquired rite aid. Clearly they do not have the staff needed to serve their patients , rather it's all about the almighty dollar. We'll be looking for a new pharmacy that understands and appreciates the critical role they play in health care.

This location does not compare to the one in Waterford, which is fantastic! At the Guilderland location, they don't acknowledge you in the drive through. After a decent wait on my first attempt, my prescription was not ready. I confirmed when to return. The second trip in the drive through took 25 minutes total. This time 10 to get acknowledged and 15 more for my prescription. Maybe I was spoiled. Is this normal?

Totally unsanitary and disgusting.... I went in today for a small purchase. When I got to the checkout, the cashier blew her nose into her hands as she walked over, then wiped them on her pants, then reached for my item to scan. I grabbed it and held it for her to scan, and then used a credit card instead of cash so she wouldn't touch anything. I was gagging as I left the store. I do not think I'll ever go back in there.

Regardless of others’ experience with pharmacists, they never have my medicine ready to pick up. It’s usually a 10-min wait to get my prescription… Like I always have 10 minutes to spare! ?If the pharmacists were rude to me, I would give one star, but that hasn’t happened with me yet.

*update* (Went to the pharmacy and they have 1 pharmacist and 1 tech. It does not appear walgreens pharmacy management is appropriately staffing this location. Have never seen this at a CVS. Don't use the pharmacy.) On hold with pharmacy for 14 minutes, and got hung up on. On hold again for 38 minutes and still nothing. Don't use the pharmacy.
