This store is full of incompetent scammers. We went in for 4 phones and came out with a headache. They charged us twice since their card machine wasn’t working. We bought cases and screen protectors - none of the prices matched. They added on a protection plan, when we had declined as we have apple care. I had to talk three different times to try and get my bill fixed, and nothing but false promises. Finally, I spoke with actual Verizon on the app, and they were able to adjust my bill. Go here if you too think money grows on trees!

Avery and the staff at this store are excellent! I’ve been a Verizon customer for two decades and during my visit to this store, I (finally) felt listened to and helped with understanding and kindness. Thank you! These folks are professional, and were able to provide support and guidance. Thank you!! This store and location is a gem.

Absolutely useless now. I have been coming here for at least the last 4 years or so. Went in and a person helped me get a replacement phone sent to me and I asked if i could come back and do the transfer and they said they would help me. I got the replacement and went there and they told me it would cost $20 to help me. One worker said that because they are no longer hourly and work on commission they have to charge to help us. My coverage has been really bad lately. Needless to say I did the transfer myself. Gonna reconsider using Verizon when my phone is paid off. If you aren't there to help without charging then what are you there for?

We wanted information on new phones and data card for our RV. Visited the store on 8/24/23 where we spoke with the Assistant Manager who was helpful but unfamiliar with the Winegard data extender on our RV. He asked that we send the IMEI information, which I did when we got home on 8/24. As of 9/13/23 I hadn’t received a response so I sent another email. As of 9/15 there’s still no reply, not even an acknowledgment of my emails. Very Poor Customer Service IMO. Sad, we live locally and wanted to deal with and support a local, easy to access local business. Looks like we’ll just stay with Spectrum.

Shakira and Justin were very nice, however Visible transfer to Verizon was not smooth and had some system error. I hope Verizon can fix this problem so the sales and customer both can have an easy time doing the transfer/activation.

Went to Verizon on 6/17 with two senior friends of mine. They wanted to get new "flip phones". We were assisted by Shakira Singleton. I cannot say enough about how helpful she was. She was patient and kind and the world needs more people like her! I will definitely go back there and recommend her services! Thanks Shakira!

Horrible service! Not sure what happened to verizon but we have dropped calls in the city, no internet while in the city. Not sure what they're up to? To many using the towers? Maybe preferential service if you have had them for a number of yrs? I'm not sure I'm very surprised!

After speaking to three people on Verizon.com I went over to the Guilderland store on Western Ave. on 5/17/23 to follow up on the information I was given about upgrading my phone. I told the young man what I was told and he told me, that I had the wrong information. To get the iPhone 14 pro that Verizon is offering that I had to pay for my old phone, upgrade my plan by $10 and then get some unrelated credit on the new phone with a 3-year commitment. Naturally, I was confused since three other people told me otherwise. I explained this and my confusion was obvious. His, response to this was to shut down. "OK," he said in a dismissive way. I can only wonder why being a 20 or 30-something entitles you to be rude to an older customer. OK. To be fair, I am certain he is rude to all the customers. He couldn't be bothered or patient with me even though I was the only customer in the store. I didn't make up the information. It was given to me and written down, by the company he represents. All this is based on a phone Verizon is literally giving away to new customers. Their year-long, dedicated existing customer who never made a late payment is obviously not worthy of this perk or basic customer service. I'm shopping for a new wireless provider and that store? Dear franchise owner, Please tell your employee that he is getting his wish. I won't be back.

I bought a new phone yesterday, after procrastinating for years. I am an older consumer and was scared I would lose the contents of my old phone, worried I could not understand a new phone, etc.Sarah is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I had no wait time, she sat me down and explained EVERYTHING, took it step by step, reassured me at every turn, took all the time we needed. I cannot say enough good things about her.I am sure the other staff are great-but Sarah just intuited that I wanted a purple phone, with a sparkle case. She got me right away.I am such a happy customer! Thanks Sarah (she is often at the Rotterdam Verizon)
