Went to drop off a package today and there was no one at the counter. I hung around for a second obviously confused, when I saw a piece of printer paper hanging on one of the doors in the back. Just said “sorry no staff today” what in the world? Very strange and truly a sign of the times that a post office would just be completely unmanned. Not much surprises me but this did!

Had a pleasant and easy experience shipping off a package at this location. They do not offer free tape at this location and it’s printed there. I believe I saw there’s a 24 hour lobby that the public can use from what I saw posted on their door. Ken came out of the back and helped me pick the cheapest package and printed out my QR code for my shipping label and put it right on the package for me too. I believe the QR code is the only way they can print your label. Thanks again usps and shoutout to Ken. Kind service too.

My boyfriend's mother dropped off a birthday card with a 50 dollar gift card and someone in the post office stole it. There was 10 dollars used at the North Allen St Pub and 40 used at the Stewarts on New Scotland Ave. The people at the post office even told her that someone who works at the post office likely felt the envelope, felt the card, and then decided to take it. They used it on alchohol and cigarettes; neither of which I partake in and essentially stole that 50 dollars from myself, my child, and my family. Post office says we can file something with them but of course no word on who it was or if they're getting fired at least. Be careful with your mail and make sure your envelopes are padded enough where some slimeball can't tell if you have a giftcard in it or not, because apparently the post office can't be trusted anymore. Shameful. Watch your mail, people. The folks behind the desk aren't who they seem to be.

I am sick and tired of the rudeness and meanness that some of the postal employees display against some customers.Truthfully, these employees need to be disciplined for unprofessional conduct.

Worst post office I've ever been to. No sense of urgency from the employees, they'll let you stand there for an hour when all you have is an amazon return.

Good hard working people in guilderland. One tall gentleman from the voorheesville location has not the personality what so ever to be speaking to customers, never seen him smile

Are post office employees allowed to be this friendly and helpful all the time? I certainly hope so. Every visit I've made here, for whatever reason, has been productive and informative. Though there might be a bit of a line during busier times.

Consistently the worst post office I've ever been to. There can be a line out the door and they'll only have one register open. There is 0 sense of urgency from the employees. Like don't you see the line? Maybe you should hop on the other register instead of just staring at everyone. It's one thing to be busy and actually be trying to help the customers and run both registers. It's another thing to be busy for no reason other than the place is running inefficiently and employees are standing around. I find it insulting to the customer when their time is not taken into consideration. Sending a package back to Amazon shouldn't be a 30 minute process. Seriously, do better. Whoever runs this post office really needs to get their act together. It's really not that hard, you see a line, you send someone to the other register. It's really that simple, I just solved the problem right there. Get your act together USPS Guilderland. I really hope you guys see this and make some changes at your store.

Mailed a package from here, it ended up being lost... no delivery over a month later, and I'm being told by their customer service to just accept that it's lost and to request a refund? I mailed a rare collectible that is no longer sold to a friend of mine as a gift, there's no refund to request! Nobody seems to want to do anything further than give me a copy-pasted apology, as if that'll magically solve my issue. I am beyond angry at this point, I am livid.
I don't understand how this can happen, especially since everything is automated and tracked nowadays. Not to mention the woman at the counter was rude and curt with me. I thought I would be nice and support the USPS, especially with what's going on now. I'm never doing that again. At least UPS/FedEx has better customer service and tracking capabilities.
