I had an absolutely great experience with PODS. I was scheduled for my third POD delivery today and when I saw how small it was compared to the previous 2 16" footers they were kind enough to switch it out, no charge for coming out for a 16' footer to be delivered tomorrow. The guys at Unit 21 at Guilderland Center are the best.

I am so unimpressed. The lack of communication is unreal. They told me that my stuff was delivered and it wasn't for four days until my stuff was delivered that they were able to located my container. When I finally got my container it had a random pad lock on it that I had to hire a locksmith to cut off. I would absolutely NOT recommend using PODS.

Customer service is top notch- all representatives were courteous and helpful. Delivery and pickup times were accurate and drivers called before arrival. Ability to ship interstate and store my belongings was super valuable to my moving needs. All of my items arrived exactly how I stored them amd in excellent condition (nothing slid out of place or broken/damaged). Would 100% recommend pods for long distance moving and storage needs.

Worse Experience EVER! Company Wasn’t Clear Everytime I Spoke To A Rep It Was A Diffrent Explanation On Why I Was Being Charged Differently. Then I Was Told I Had To Pay $496 In Storage Fee For The Month On Top Of Other Fees. Let’s Just Say I Ended Up Paying Over $4000!!!! I Waited 3 Weeks Just To Get My Things . What A Stressful Experience. I Should Have Used U-Haul And Saved A Ton Of Money

Scheduled a drop off for 7/17. Never received an email with drop off window times. Called and they didn’t know either. Called two more times and checked website for details with no updates. Call on day of supposed delivery to be told to expect drop off at 1115 am only to get a call at 1115 am that they’re rescheduling me a WEEK later. Horrible communication, failure to update, and non-delivery.

My experience with PODS was absolutely favorable. The driver dropping off the pod was so polite and friendly. I have been dealing in the business world for a long time and rarely do I meet an employee who seems genuinely conscientious with a pleasant smile and professional demeanor. I had to write and brag on employee Ramon Rivera, who I would have hired in my former business in a nano second. Great job Ramon???

A bit of a pricy choice compared to driving a uhaul. But the ease and comfort not having to drive a truck and physically move stuff ourselves was great. Easy to change dates and container size if needed, and communication during drop off and pick up was great.

First time using this service for a move and we couldn’t be happier. It was so easy to do everything online. One click to deliver pod and pick up. It was nice to have the POD to be able to pack and load at our own pace, and not be overwhelmed with a million boxes in the house. Such a brilliant idea and so easy! Will definitely use PODS again in the future!

Do not use PODS to move your belongings. First, after they picked up our POD, they refused to ship it for over a week. The "incomplete paperwork" excuse was due to our name being on someone else's POD in a state halfway across the country.We gave POD over 3 weeks to move our belongings from New Nork to California and they still were days late, resulting in needing a new permit to unload our POD from the street. How can you not plan your logistics properly with a 3 week window? Unacceptable.I recommend anyone desperate enough to use this company use an apple tag to track your POD. The company won't track it for you and will simply lie that it hasn't arrived in the facility yet. Give us our stuff back.

Overall the delivery and moving of the PODs went fairly smoothly (I recommend placing an air-tag in your POD to track the progress), but they attempted to over charge on the final delivery price and I am still having to deliberate the final payment. If another moving company has a better and more honest payment processing system I would go with them instead.Update concerning the comment:The pricing wasn’t for the POD but rather a drop off request from the warehouse to my house since the system wouldn’t let me select house drop off when booking the POD. I asked to correspond over email for the booking but rather got a call from the warehouse to schedule the drop off. I was told one price on the phone an invoiced a price twice the amount. Precisely the reason I requested email correspondance in the first place, for record keeping and honest pricing.
