It is so easy to contact a vet even on the weekends. I truly appreciate how well they explain everything to us. I can call and the vet will actually call me back. I can email pictures for diagnoses and the vet will look at them and discuss treatment options. Would 100% recommend Battenkill Veterinary Bovine to anyone with cattle.

Lies! Unresponsive! Attitude! Unprofessional! Denies that he spoke with someone when he didn’t.Most go into the field of veterinarian as they love what they do and want to HELP animals. You sir, need to get out of the field.Don’t have an “on call service” after hours if you’re going to not offer emergency care.I noticed you only have 5 reviews on google, that’s why you’re scored 5. Most are so upset and frustrated that they forget to leave how bad your services are!

Dr Byers came to vaccinate and pregnancy check our small herd of cattle today. We are very happy with the professional service that we received from both her and the office staff. She took the time to explain the answers to any questions that we had. Looking forward to our next visit.

Hutch (French Alpine goat) was 3 1/2 years old and very healthy. On Wednesday, we realized he was in serious distress (he couldn't urinate...stones causing blockage). Unfortunately our regular vet was gone for the day, so we called Battenkill Veterinary Bovine. They sent the on-call vet. She removed 9-10 stones and, although he was sedated, some urine was coming out. The vet then drained his bladder using a syringe (she put the syringe in at least three times instead

Had my goat buck Alex in for a scur removal surgery. Dr Young was great, as was her assistant. Thanks for caring for my big boy!
