After 3 days of back and forth with Amazon Customer Service, Seller Customer Service & USPS 800 #, I figured they likely couldn't help but gave Greenport location a call to seek some advice & a gentleman was kind enough to check for the package I put the wrong house # on & got it rerouted while I was out of town. SO grateful!! :)

This post office follows best practice in all services that have provided been me in my many many years in Greenport. The clerks are always courteous and informed. When I have trouble with my mail forwarding the post-master takes my phone call to assist me to sort this out.

As a general rule consumers of your services expect when given ample time to preform your job it should be done- especially when we all know you don't work on a particular day. When a package delivers to your office, it is sorted, and prepared to deliver do not mark the item as "OUT FOR DELIVERY" if it absolutely is not.
