We recently used Jernick Moving to transport several pieces of furniture from Tamarac, Florida to Riverhead, NY and it was the most pleasant experience we could have imagined. It was emotional for us because we were moving family 'heirlooms' that belonged to my wife's mom, and we don't live in Florida which meant that we had to fly down to meet the movers, and then fly back to greet the movers, which brought it's own set of stressors, but the folks at Jernick made it as comfortable, and accommodating as it could be. The office staff was very nice to deal with (Isabella & Tara), calling with updates and information, and the movers we met in Florida (Tom & Julio), and the NY movers (Hector, and I apologize for not getting the other fellow's name) were friendly, very professional, and very happy to take a few additional items on the truck. They wrapped up the items in Florida quickly and efficiently, and delivered the items in NY safely and equally as efficiently. My wife called a lot of movers before choosing Jernick, and it was a great choice! If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. Thank you for being so careful and kind with our possessions!

Shout out to Rich, Tara, Tom and the rest of the Jernick Moving Team for another outstanding experience. We have used Jernick Movers a few times over the years for both our homes and business needs. They have always responded promptly to our requests, made great packing recommendations and took the utmost care of our belongings both on and off the truck. This latest move had three destinations and I have to say, everything arrived safely, accurately and when promised. Hopefully this is our last move, but if not, I wouldn't think twice about having Jernick Moving take care of it. Highly recommended!!

I think i should provide a bit of my background so everyone knows the basis for my comments. I recently retired after 50 plus years in a family owned business. During that time I was MOSTLY involved with "hands-on" trades people who i hired and managed during their years with our company. Many retired after 25-30 years with our company. I was recommended to use Jernick by many people i know. Their recommendation came with the highest of praise and i can only speak of my highest regard for their business. Their staff is professional, from the first phone contact to the last piece of furniture they moved. Their staff operate as a well oil machine. They made several suggestions which helped me with my move as i followed their plan. Their probable cost estimate was fair and the final invoice was within their estimate. (something not seen to ofter these days ). Hector, Alex and Ernest were the actual movers and showed up right on time. I can only compliment them with their care, concern and pride as they moved my furniture and stuff. There was no damage even though they had some large pieces of glass and a 85 inch TV to move. I called them the "A" Team!
I plan to use Jernick again for any of my moving needs and have already recommended them to other people planning a move.

The team you sent for my move from Seaford to Cutchogue were amazing. I did the move to Cutchogue in 2 steps, about the same size. You were almost half the price because what your 3 guys got done in 4 hours the other company needed 4 guys 8 hours. The men were friendly, and responsive. Would not leave until my wife and I were satisfied.
Also, thank you for advertising in St. Patrick's church bulletin. That, and a number of recommendations were why we selected Jernick. No regrets here.

I hired them for packing and a short move (less than 0.5mi). They came on time. The issue I had with them is the disregard for cost savings and the environment. They used way more boxes and packing supplies than needed. Sure, my plastic bowls, paper plates and brass andirons were protected from breakage, but….yeah.

Honestly, the smoothest move I have ever had, and I wasn't even on site ! Wow. They were amazing and called and sent photos to show where they put things and offered suggestions. They were awesome & I highly recommend!

Outstanding movers. Professional, polite, extremely careful, quick and efficient. I cannot say enough good things about them, from the patient and accommodating office folk to the moving men themselves. A true family business of seven decades duration, still going strong -- for a very good reason.

Shane S, I feel your review makes no sense. Your "opinion" of ONE STAR, (which is awful and does matter) and just might be based on a website/ administration possible miscommunication/ accounting error, is just too extreme. You CALLED this business and they told you a price -- are you really going to judge a company based on website pics and "gotcha," petty, machinations of your perception of website pics??? This type of misguided "reviewing" in 2022 is exactly why YELP is becoming so damn annoying lately. I have used and EXPERIENCED Jernick Moving about four times now, (personal and business) in the past two years and the last time was TODAY. Amazing people, amazing business, responsible, -- they are the best movers this very picky customer and my partner have used in our myriad moves and 70 years each. Attentive, flexible, honest, pleasant, incredible and helpful staff, great prices -- Jernick Movers really could not be better!

Notice the photo on their website promoting 2 men + 1 truck for $145 per hour for local moves? I spoke to them today and needed help with a very small local move and wanted to hire 2 men for it. The lady said they send 3 guys and that costs $195 per hour. I said, on your website you promote 2 men @ $145 and I'd like to hire just the 2. She said we never send 2 guys, only 3. I said, right on your website it shows 2 men. She said we always send 3 because the next job requires more men and further, "I'm not in charge of the website". I'd prefer to choose a company that offers upfront pricing and when you show them on their own website said pricing they honor it. Not pass the buck by saying "I'm not responsible". You can read your own website, right? Can't wait to see Lynn J's response as to why their own website shows pricing but when you call you're told, we won't honor the price we advertise. Get ready for the tap dancing.

Very professional and helpful. The 3 people who came were very nice and quickly moved everything carefully. We had to move heavy furniture between two houses and they made it look effortless! I would recommend them highly. We will definitely use this company again! Thanks so much.
