Food is always perfect. It’s a great place to eat at!

As others have noted, the staff (particularly, an elderly lady at the counter) is extremely rude towards adults and children alike. Organic stock is limited and overpriced. IGA around the corner has at least simple, friendly people and has improved stock and deli counter.

Great grab and go lunch options (salads, wraps, smoothies, etc.). Some of the grocery items can get expensive, but if you need something specific (vegan, GF, etc.) you’ll likely find a brand you know and love. The vegan broccoli salad was delicious!

Over-priced and unfriendly. I'm OK with a mark-up and even encourage it in order to support a local business, but many items a sold for a full 2x what you'd find at a big box store. And then the prices are much higher than the other organic stores on the North Fork.

$50 for 2 smoothies and 2 wraps? Didn’t help that the staff was super unfriendly and the food was incredibly bland. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Great little cafe. We stop every time we're in Greenport and get some sort of soup/sandwich combo. Prices are reasonable and it is a cozy spot, especially if you're walking around in the colder climates. Although the vegetable chili was a little bland, they have hot sauces etc. It's nice that they have the veggie and vegan options. Something for everyone and service was fine.

strong vegan options are few and far between on the eastern end of the North Fork, unfortunately. The Market has a great selection of health food groceries and speciality items. They also have a cafe, which due to Covid wasn't bustling as I'm sure it normally would be when I went. I got a tofu salad wrap which was fine but freezing cold (it was pre-made) and quite expensive. The place didn't feel overly welcoming to me, but that might've been because it was empty due to the pandemic. Either way, I am grateful to them for offering vegan options in Greenport and will go back I'm sure.

If they only sold smoothies and vegan reuben sandwiches that would be enough but Shelly offers so much more. We're fortunate to have The Market in our town :)

Insanely over priced for mediocre food. It's nice inside and there intentions are good with it being organic. But if I'm paying $14.99 for a small/dinky "chicken salad wrap" it better be bomb.

Some of the best healthy food on this side of the island. Love coming here in the Spring/Summer. To address these older reviews... If you're expecting orders to come out lightning fast speed like NYC markets, go back to Manhattan. It does not come out in 30 seconds... It also NEVER took me 30 minutes to get a sandwich here, ever. It's a pretty average speed?? LOL The owner is really nice and they have no problem doing a special thing for you. All about the customer. Food is fresh, tastes amazing, usually organic, etc etc

A great quick-serve breakfast/lunch spot in the heart of downtown Greenport. A group of 7 of us wanted a quick breakfast after a yoga class, so we decided to stop by The Market. They had a good sized menu with your breakfast/lunch staples, and they're extremely vegetarian friendly! I had the platter with eggs and potatoes and it was delicious. They have alternative milk such as oat milk, so if you have a dairy allergy then you're in luck. There are some tables and chairs if you'd like to sit down, and there's a small grocery store section with lots of allergen friendly and vegan food options for purchase. The service was quick however one of our orders was incorrect: One egg sandwich was supposed to have avocado and tomato and it came with just eggs. Just be sure to double check everything before you leave if you have a larger order. Otherwise, everything was delicious and very decently priced.
