I stayed here on 6-20-24 with my wife for one night so we could have a night on the north fork before taking a morning ferry. The Inn is a 10-bedroom house that was converted into a 5-bedroom bed and breakfast. The Inn is a quaint and beautiful spot right on the water, with a private pool and a small, private portion of a beach. There is easy, quick walking access to the LIRR and to the town of Greenport with plenty of restaurants and shops. Parking is included. Free breakfast in the morning was plentiful and delicious. We wish we had the time to stay 2-3 nights. We absolutely loved it, and we can't wait to stay there again.

What a great experience! The property was beautiful and everyone was super friendly. My favorite part was the walkability into town - a super quick walk.

Such a perfect location! The owner is very kind and hospitable. The water access, amenities, and proximity to downtown Greenport is unbeatble!Nearby activities: Checkout the Port restaraunt just a 3 minute walk from the house. Also a ferry ride to shelter island is well worth the trip!

Leueen’s incredibly relaxing and impeccably designed B&B checks every box for what one would want in a coastal escape in Long Island’s wine country. Quietly tucked away, yet still within walking distance to town, all you can hear are the sound of waves. Plant yourself on a lounge chair and watch the boats, doze off on the hammock, or lie down at the end of the long dock and watch the night sky. It was such an enjoyable experience- I almost forgot I came for the vineyards.

My husband and I needed a few days away. We stayed at the Inn at Harbor Knoll and it was the perfect place for us. We did so much and also found the time to just sit under a tree and read. This is a must go to place. The owner Leueen is amazing. Even with the all the hotels that are opening up, the atmosphere and quaintness of the Inn cannot be replaced.

My wife and I have stayed with Mrs. Miller about a half dozen times. We love the house, the location and her hospitality. She has led quite an interesting and full life! Highly recommend.

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our 3 full days at The Inn At Harbor Knoll. This is a very charming, tastefully decorated house, thoughtfully appointed with beautiful items in every corner and a vast selection of good books lining the many shelves in each room. The location is perfect nestled in a quiet spot walking distance to town, while maintaining it’s private oasis. The gardens and grounds are gorgeous right by the Sound. Chirping birds and serene views of boats and ferries to and from Shelter Island add to the wonderful ambiance to enjoy from the heated pool and a variety of hammocks, comfortable chairs and chaise lounges inside and out. Leueen is a lovely hostess, interesting person and pleasure to chat with. This place is not to be skipped!Rooms: All en suite with whimsical decor and charming wallpaper.Nearby activities: Wineries, museums, restaurants, scenting farms and homes.Safety: Felt extremely safe.Walkability: A quick walk to center of Greenport with shops, restaurants and marina.Food & drinks: We enjoyed a breakfast of fresh brewed coffee, homemade delicious quiche, French toast, lemon cake, magnificent strawberry rhubarb pie, fruit garnish, orange juice.Noteworthy details: The rooms have an en suite, each have a theme- some beds and bathrooms are more comfortable / logistically designed than others.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet B&B to spend a few nights for our babymoon and we couldn't have been happier with The Inn At Harbor Knoll. Leueen was a gracious host, made breakfast for us every morning between 9-10a. Loved sitting in her screened in porch and listening to the harbor. Spent one of our afternoons in the heated swimming pool. Walkable to town which was charming and had plenty to do and eat. High marks all around.

My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend hoping for a little getaway, but were a little disappointed. The inn was pretty, grounds and harbor view were very pretty. The room however had alot to be desired. We stayed in the Harbor View room which had 2 windows and only 1 had the harbor view the other was on the side of the house, the room and bathroom was very small, my bedroom and ensuite bathroom at home is much bigger and I live in a one bedroom condo, the bed was HORRIBLE it was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor! We were supposed to stay 3 nights but left after 2 because we couldn't bear to sleep in that bed another night. Breakfast was good but a little skimpy for the price. Overall definitely overpriced and the inn keeper needs to get new beds!!

I stayed at Harbor knoll this past weekend with a group of girls and cannot say enough good things. First of all, you CANNOT beat this location. The house is right on the water, with a pool, a garden and is a VERY short walk to town. Leueen and Maggie are fabulous and made us feel right at home. I feel confident that there is no where better in all of Greenport to stay!

It was one of those rare places you almost don’t want to give away, like a secret. Right on the water, beautiful private 19th c. home, wonderful hostess, excellent breakfast, easy walk to Greeenport with its good restaurants and the Shelter Island Ferry. Much better than an impersonal Air BnB, and totally worth the price. We will be back as soon as possible!
