The Harbor Front Inn is a beautiful hotel in an idyllic location on Front Street, right in the heart of Greenport and close to the water, shops, and restaurants. The lobby is elegant, fresh, and inviting with lovely details. The hotel is immaculate and well-designed. Many rooms offer excellent, unbeatable harbor views of ferries, tall ships, and waterfront action, which is a truly stimulating and enjoyable experience. The staff is great, friendly, courteous, and helpful. Rooms are generally excellent with comfortable beds and great showers, though some could use updating. The pool area is small. Guests should be aware of significant additional taxes and fees added to the nightly room rate.
I stopped by the Harbor Front to meet a friend for a drink. Wow, the lobby is beautiful. The design and the colours used are elegant but still fresh and inviting, accenting the really lovely details of the bar and the fireplace. This place definitely ups the game on Front Street.

Great hotel stay, but they could use some signs (for pool, ice maker). Pool area is small. Location and view can't be beat. Rooms could use some updating (stained carpet) but shower is great and bed was very comfortable. Robes are a nice touch.

It was a great stay for my wife and I to spend our 40th anniversary and the the staff was great.
