LOVE my doctors at Mt. Sinai, Greenlawn. Listen to my concerns and offer suggestions and good medical treatment. Thorough with exam and follow through. Been with Mt. Sinai for 9 years.

I've seen the OBGYN and radiology departments here and they were both very good. Both the doctors and the office staff were kind and knowledgeable.

The only thing I can compliment about my experience with the Mt Sinai system is that I am comfortable that my doctor is knowledgeable, thorough and personable, that is what the one star represents. The rest of my experience with the Mt Sinai system has been a recurring nightmare of failures by the office staff, which if you read the other reviews, appears to be a long standing issue that they can not seem to get handled. The office staff will tell you someone will call you but they don't, they tell you they will get something taken care of but it doesn't. They have repeatedly failed to send my MRI prescription to the imagining center resulting in my MRI getting cancelled and then as a result my appt with my doctor having to be rescheduled. Its not like this is any kind of important or significant medical concern (sarcasm), maybe not to them. It was only after making a corporate complaint they finally responded in droves, promising to fix the issues and make everything right. It is now a month later, my new MRI is scheduled for tomorrow and my new appt with the doctor next week, I have been told all the issues have been resolved and I should be good to go. NOPE! This morning I was notified that my MRI has again been cancelled due to failure to get the prior approval, that I was told was addressed. My appt with the doctor is now going to have to be scheduled again but at this point I am not sure I want to do anything through the Mount Sinai system. If you haven't made your decision of where to get your care, than take my advice and don't walk down this path with me. I can sadly say that this has been one of the most incompetent groups of people I have ever encountered in the healthcare world and that says ALOT. If I don't get the resolution I need today, which I am highly doubting right now, I am going to seek care elsewhere. Unfortunately this is a sign of the times, it seems the only way anyone care is when a complaint is made that might wind up costing them business and therefore money. I hope that my review here, and everywhere else I am going to post it, does just that. Maybe then someone will do something to fix the dereliction that has gone on time after time.
Just got a message that they investigated my issue and it appears the insurance company "dropped the ball". Okay, This Time, it was the insurance company, every other time it was not.

I like my doctor, loved it when I was able to see a PA quickly for possible bronchitis. But the patient portal should make it easy to book lab work if the orders are already in the system. I’ll try to be grateful that there’s a callback system for when the hold line is long.

Great facility and location. Dr and nurses are good. Have been using them for 20+ years.

I liked my first couple routine visits okay. But when I had an actual issue, the physician gave 1 suggestion for what she thought the issue was and walked out the door before I had a chance to say anything. I did start to say something but she either didn’t hear it or pretended not to. Total visit was less than 5 minutes.

Far too many doctors are more interested in billable hours than patient care. It was such a good practice as North Shore Medical Group. That’s why so many good doctors have left or took an early retirement.

Going down hill, quick. Firstly, back in 2021 the doctor I saw for a physical scolded me for not getting the COVID19 vaccine. Telling me that I was the reason the pandemic was still going on and that I was “quite selfish.” Additionally, one of the nurses refused to speak to me and walked out of the room when she found out I was not vaccinated and didn’t plan on getting it. Recently, as of the summer of 2023, this practice requires you to announce your pronouns and gender identity when calling and filling out paperwork. When you refuse, they’ll give you an attitude. Overall, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Politics shouldn’t be in the mix for healthcare.

I came to this place with my father to see urologist. It was first time. My dad’s appointment was at 11:15am however when I got to the office I was told it’s 2pm. When I explain the office staff that I made appointment two months ago and I traveled an hour and half to get here. They helped me out and took my father little early even it was nurses lunch time. I just hope that call center is more aware and accurate about giving appointments because it’s hard for old people. My dad was seen by Dr Wagasakar, he was really knowledgeable and understanding. MA who took care of my father was very nice. Whole experience was quite nice. I am giving 4 star because of calling center and appointment schedule mess up.

While I really like the doctors at this group, the call management of the office group is terrible. You cannot directly contact a department and calling a doctor or nurse back is impossible. You can only call through the main number and speak with a "coordinator" Hold times are extremally long. This week I waited on hold to discuss a health concern for almost one hour only to be disconnected by the system.

The doctors and nurses are great. The administration is not.I always pay every bill in my life on time. This office switched me and my family to online billing and dud not notify us at all. Then, I get a letter from a collection agency in Chicago, Haris and Haris.Completely unacceptable!
