The staff is amazing. The pups are beautiful. Please try to foster and build a bond with a fur baby. They have all been through there own drama in life. Like any other pet they just need patience and to learn a different kind of life. Remember these animals are scared too.

I emailed the shelter a few months ago about a dog who I see in her cage every day. They told me that I could come in, which is fine, but I asked how much her meds would be, or to have the info so I could work it into my budget.
They refused to email me back, and there the dog sits. Idk if they get some government kickback for keeping this dog, or all dogs from homes.
But I’ll just go to Saratoga county. It’s obvious they don’t want to have the dogs adopted cause I see the same ones there everyday.
And they work with me!
A shame, I would have loved to have that pup I see everyday in my house instead of the cold cage especially with temps the way they are becoming.

Had a boatload of "dog stuff" ie leashes, harnesses, beds, toys..and more. Took a ride on beautiful Sunday to donate to this place. Awesome staff greeted me before I shut off my car engine! GREAT PLACE; GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Visited their booth at petapalooza. Fell in love with Bentley.Scheduled a meet and greet for the next day. I would have taken him home that day. I understand home visits and meet and greets, however after scheduling the home visit for the next day they came and found my wife, who was volunteering at another table. After committing they told her that they would no longer be coming because they now gotten a lot of applications and needed to "sift through them". This wouldn't have been a big deal had they not already committed. I would have totally gotten it. This was bad business and I probably wouldn't adopt from them now.
