my daughter was going to go thru this place for an apt. When we got there, the lady (I'm assuming was related to him because he was pleasant to her) behind the counter was almost snobby when we asked her a question. Then when it came time to view an apt the guy (finning) only seemed to be worried about when she could come up with the money and not about the questions we had about some repairs we noticed immediately that we would want to be fixed before moving in.

Didn't end up getting the rental but, the house was shown promptly and Justin answered all my questions. Also he called and told me I was not selected which was greatly appreciated.

Have been renting from Jimmy for over three years now and whenever I have a issue he is there that day or or the next day. He is a great landlord who does the right thing, especially during this epidemic.

Jim Finning is a racist. So here's the story, I was renting from him for almost two years. He wants to put the house on the market because he doesn't want it any more and asks me if I wanted to buy it. I was only 23 at the time and extremely thrilled to own my own home. Anyways, after an inspection was done, I changed my mind. There was mold in the basement, bathroom, my room, and kitchen. The only safe space was the living room. The roof was 25 years old, stairs were halfway broken, and the house itself, is standing on a 4x4. There were so many other things wrong but those were just a few. However, I politely declined his offer to buy the house on 4/17/19 and received an eviction notice on 4/19/19. How do you evict someone for not wanting to buy your property? If anyone needs the inspection review, feel free to contact me. Jim was made aware of what was wrong and he said it out loud that he's not going to fix it. When I first moved to Green Island, everyone said to watch out for him. I didn't have a reason to and plus I give everyone a chance but now I see why. He's a terrible human being.
