“I was lucky enough to wander in one day in 1995 as I was waiting on a friend who had an appointment across the street.I loved the unique inventory and decor. At that time, It was the only shop I had seen that reminded me of my mother’s business, The Apple tree. I have been back every year since for Christmas gifts and more.This year I was helped by Nicole and my experience was a 10/10 like all the years prior. I brought my 13 year old daughter again this year and she loved picking out gifts for her mother. The overall shopping experience is still one of my favorites. My trip exceeded my expectations when I was told they weren’t out of calendars yet! I received a response an hour or two later, that same night. Not only that, but they were super helpful in explaining how the sizes really work for the kids hoodie I was trying to order & is working with me to exchange what I have for the correct sizes. “Went here to buy Scrubs. They have a nice selection of decently priced sets. The sizes run a bit small. I ordered a Large as it said it was for size 14 and 16. Ended up needing to return all the pants and sets for a size up. I was able to make returns no problem with the receipt. I will shop here again now that I understand the sizing.”

They have a huge selection of reasonably priced, high quality jewelry. The entire upstairs is local goods, from decor to clothing, to little gifts. I have several Rochester items from Peppermint, including genesee brewery pillows! And they're all really great quality. Definitely stop here for your holiday shopping!”

“By cashier was very young and had just started and seemed nervous and I wanted him to engage and talk to me and learn about him and make it more a conversation while I know he has a script to set to but I think it's important to see these young people out at these customer service care jobs post covid and they are some of the hardest jobs to work and they don't get enough credit or pay so I always like to have a conversation and let them know I appreciate what they are doing and commend them for being out in the world making it a better capitalistic American System and that he or she should be proud”
