Costumer service very rude and not care about nobody

I am giving a mixed review because I have had amazing experiences there and one time I had to walk out because the receptionist (a young person) and another employee were talking while the receptionist was entering data from my doctor's lab slip. The other employee was actually showing pictures from her phone, laughing and conversing. I asked them to please wait until all the data was input because that is how mistakes happen and wouldn't you know, the comprehensive CBC was missing from the lab draw that was done with that same receptionist a few days later when I decided I had no choice but to return. I had that same lab test drawn a few weeks prior in the doctor's office, such that it didn't set me back. But it could have. I learned from calling for the results (a different phone number) that they change employees often at this site such that I waited a few weeks, held my breath hoping for a new receptionist, and returned again. The staff was changed and I had an excellent experience. I also mentioned to the phlebotomist to please make sure all the ordered labs from the lab prescription are done. I explained that the CBC had been missing from my last visit there. The phlebotomists have always gotten my blood first try and I am a hard stick. When the team is good, they are great. I live right around the corner so my preference is to go to this site. Quest and Sunrise labs are farther in distance. An early morning draw is just more convenient there. I went again yesterday and I'll see if anything is missing from the lab results when they come in. I was treated excellently once again. I don't foresee a problem. If Northwell wished to contact me to discuss the prior 2 incidents etc.. I would welcome that. At the time, I didn't feel well enough to pursue this. But I took pictures of the lab slips which are dated. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I keep having the quality experiences I more often than not get there. If that particular receptionist returns, I will walk out again, wait a week for the staff change or travel to Quest or Sunrise Labs if it is urgent. If it doesn't feel right, you are probably right.

I did two covid tests in this lab. The rapid which I waited for 10 minutes and right away the attendant said negative.I had all the symptoms but was glad to know it was not covid. They also tested me with the cpr and said it takes 3 days for the results However other family members got sick with same exact symptoms as me they got tested at a different lab and two days later we found out they were positive. Me in the other hand was still waiting for my results. Is been a week since then, thank god Im better but I still have no *** what my results are, they havent contacted me with a result. I assume it was Covid due to family members testing positive and having the same symptoms as me. The way this lab operates is not only unprofessional but extremely negligent. I cant even imagine the amount of people waking around spreading the virus waiting weeks for a result.

Very professional and nice staff. Kay is the absolute best. We hope she is there all the time. Can’t say enough about her.

Rude. Their systems are sloppy-- they lost our paperwork the first time. Couldn't be bothered to find it. Please don't ask how long the wait is. Evidently that question they hold in bad tasa loo te.

The worst Northwell lab. Very rude and nasty. I tried to make an appointment for a 3 hour gestational diabetes I am 6 months pregnant and appalled at the unprofessionalism of the girl that answered the phone at 10:30 am. They said I had to make an appointment online. I called the customer service line of Northwell and was advised for this specific test I'm supposed to call in because of the time frame. The girl said can you go somewhere else because we are only open until 1pm on a sat we already have 2 patients. I went to Bayside and they had 3 pregnant women doing the same test plus 15 walk ins I counted. Whoever was there was lazy rude and misinforming patients. I have made a complaint also with Northwell about the unprofessionalism and her judgement runs the business.

Rachelle is awesome. Quick and easy, first time the charm. No poking around. I use to go to other places to get my lab work done. By far this is the best place to get your lab work done. This is my go to spot going forward

Second and last time I will use this lab. They had no one in office waiting for blood draws and yet they let me sit and wait for 20 mins before talking to me. The tech wore his blue surgical gloves while in office doing paper work then took me in room to draw my blood, before he was just about to stick my with the needle I asked him if he was going to change his gloves. He asked me if I wanted him to! I said yes. He really should have washed his hands also but he didn't. I was shocked. So he wears his gloves everywhere spreading germs everywhere. This is so scary.

excellent professionals. fast and courteous. took my 6 yr old son there for blood works. i was nervous at first after what happened at another place last yr, which took 1 hr n ended up taking blood from his heel!! here, Sheerly, nurse or medical assistant took less than 5 min to find the vein and draw the needed blood (two viles). we were in and out in 10min. they also have a large flatscreen tv in the waiting room...
